I might as well test the waters too and I haven't even used any of my college eligibility yet.....
Keion: “Well Water, what do you think?”
Water: “Unfortunately sir, you have a rare case of Tinman’s disease, the NBA will eat you alive and spit you out.”
Keion: “Oh no, what can I do Water?”
Water: “Go back to UK for your Sr. season and try and grow a pair and then come back this time next year and test me again and I’ll let you know.”
Keion: “Gee, thanks for shooting me straight Water.”
Water: “Any time Tinman errrrrrrr Keion.”

Seems like it would be in the best interest of both parties for him to move on. I wish him luck over seas. Hope he makes an NBA roster one day.

Good for him, but I can’t see him getting positive feedback, he needs to move back 1 step and shoot the 3, work on his handles and get in Super shape to bang for rebounds. He likes to stand around and watch the game to much. Welcome back Mr. Brooks, you can actually graduate and get a real Senior Night.
You never know. Maybe he goes pro and in a couple of years he's improved his body and develops some consistency he could be a contributor as a role player. I doubt it will happen, but never say never.
I would be surprised, but certainly not shocked, if he were to make an NBA roster. He has skills.

Notice no thanks to the fans, which is just as well. An all time non fan favorite. Hard to look past what he said about Rupp. Good luck to him, but it’s best for both that he actually leaves.
Finally some good news for UK.
Kind of sad. He was on the top High School team in the USA and their second best player. He came with a lot of high expectations that never developed. So, the excitement of getting 5 star recruits is fine but guarantees nothing.
If I were his coach, I would make him practice wearing a blindfold dribbling and grip strength exercises.

Finally, some positive UK basketball news.
Seems like good person but I don’t know what he is expecting to hear he is a g-league/ overseas player, his best option is probably to transfer and go play with his friend at Indiana
Just never seemed happy or consistent on the court even though Cal was loyal to him TO A FAULT. As mentioned, time for both parties to move on.
I hope he can stay if front of his defender in the league. Sure couldn’t in the NCAA

Wish Keon the best. Not a bad player at all when utilized correctly. Don’t see the nba in his immediate future however so will be interesting to see what he does. Come back for a Sr. Season here or take the portal route. Cal can’t play him as much next year either way unless brooks’ game improves by a good margin. 12-15 would be about right aside from the rare Kansas type game where everything is dropping for him.
Feels very Wenyen Gabriel like to me. 5 star thin PF that were multiple year role players at Kentucky where it just never worked. Go work hard in the G League and hope to get opportunities like Wenyen is now. No ill will, no sadness, ready to move on.
It's easy to see why we never have 4 year kids. Everyone treats them like crap cause they are not good enough to go pro early. He came in with Puff and Juzang. Puff quits, juzang transfers out after being a Freshman. Keion is the only one that didn't quit.

He needs to give college 1 more year. He’d probably be better off dropping a level or 2 and going to a school that will let him play point forward. Work on nothing but ball handling all year and then take your shot w making a roster next year. He won’t stick in the NBA w his current handles
You need some of these guys to stay.. Keion Brooks was showing some signs this year, that we never saw the two years prior. You never know if things might really click for him next season.
I'd rather roll the dice with Keion as a senior than trying our hand with a non-top5 incoming freshman.
Not my favorite Wildcat to say the least but not going to root against him.
As for Keion in the NBA.. I see no chance he gets picked this year, and I'd really hope He and his camp figure this out soon, and decide in a timely fashion to return. He's one of those not-too-common players that could REALLY benefit in returning: 5-star recruit didn't pan out early, but if he can fine tune his game he could easily wind up as a 1st round pick next year. If he can put together more of those Kansas-type games where he's hitting mid-range jumpers.. he'll land on a roster for sure.
I dont blame him. He should. But I also feel like hes been the same guy every year. Kenny Walker was saying that very thing on the postgame a few weeks ago I dont remember which game.
Id like to see him come back and improve the stuff he needs to improve. But I also question if that will happen because hes been given all manner of PT and really hasnt changed who he is from his freshman year.
