And screw off to you as well as Brooks for calling people racists with no evidence to back it up....he even thought it was more about Adolph's first name in a reference to Hitler....Brooks was a total moron for what he said and he was in fact the racist one trying to intimate Rupp hated Jews like Hitler.

He never apologized for what he said, Cal just made up more of his bullcrap nonsense like he always does for players instead of talking any facts or realities to the moment.
He really said something about the name Adolph?

Well a good portion of the fanbase is always clamoring for guys to come back to UK when they aren't ready professionally. Will be interesting to hear what that portion of the fanbase says if Brooks does come back for senior year, as it appears, at least based on this thread, many are ready for him to depart.

Testing the Euro BB Waters? I'd like to see him back next year but maybe he can make more money overseas. Anyway, good luck KB...even though you didn't know the difference between Adolph Rupp and Adolf Hitler.

I’m all for getting players back and I’d be down for KB to come back but not as a starter and I’m afraid if he’s back he will be the starter and we will lose Topp or Hop and I’d prefer to keep those 2 over KB.

Douglas Roberts experiment is over whether he comes back or not. It's over. Time for kbj to rebound the ball! Or get the hell out of here!

This may make me a selfish prick but I don't care. I really do not care what UK players do in the NBA. I root for them while they are here and that's about it.

It didn't used to be that way but why on Earth would I care about guys like Cason Wallace who said at the McDonald's game that he wants to leave UK as quickly as possible?

Bye.
I only know what our players do in the NBA from reading this board.

That said , I hope Brooks makes it to NBA

read between the lines

I recognize my hypocrisy but I also know Cal

Just never seemed happy or consistent on the court even though Cal was loyal to him TO A FAULT. As mentioned, time for both parties to move on.
I’m guessing he stays and graduate’s then try again then transfer his Grad year

Some of you are miserable. Who wouldn't want a former five star recruit back for another year? For some reason KBJ became the scapegoat for our problems this year when he was a stud for some games. If he isn't playing well then bring in Toppin or Collins. After the injuries we've had the past few years, give me all the talented depth we can get.

Except Cal didn’t when it mattered, and won’t next year either.

Any “basketball Benny” could see Toppin was our best player not named tshiebwe in the first half against St Peters. Ol’ Cal couldn’t though. Sat him almost the entire second half while Brooks brought nothing, especially on defense. I guess Cal “forgot he was over there on the bench” as he has said before.

Good that he is testing the NBA. Last year he was testing our patience.

I’ve been critical of Brooks at times, but supportive as well. He’s not what we hoped he’d be, but I’d still like to see him return. A senior forward is not a bad thing, although I’d play Toppin ahead of him most of the time. Brooks needs to improve his motor and toughness.

He may have said some negative things around here (Rupp) that pissed people off but I'm trying to be above that, a bit, and wish the kid good luck. He did some good things here for us but far too inconsistent and was weak on defense. Still, I wish him luck with whatever he decides to do after getting feedback.
My feelings as well. I attributed his Rupp stuff to being an easily influenced college kid who let a few professors use him as a mouthpiece. I wish he could have been more consistent and lived up to his billing. If he goes, I wish him well. If he stays, I hope he has a breakout year.

here is the quote

“Being honest, I haven’t educated myself well enough on Adolph Rupp or just the whole situation at hand to really give you my thoughts on it,” said Brooks, who is also a member of the SEC Council on Racial Equality and Social Justice. “From what I do know, I would like to see a name change just basically because of what his name is and what that’s connected to and what that kind of represents. I would like to see a name change.”

Hope people are prepared, Kentucky likes to do the announcements for the draft in individual days, so sharpe Washington and Oscar are all next in upcoming days. People need to prepare themselves for that
Exactly my thoughts, the next 3-4 days gonna be painful. The Sharpe decision will be nuclear for Cal.

I’m not mentally prepared for Oscar leaving, I don’t think I can take that bad news I will be upset about sharpe but Oscar is tied for my favorite player ever to play here
Oscar will bother me far more but just saying after next years class gets ruined Cal will feel the heat. We can all understand why Oscar would leave. At least he performed at the highest level and was an amazing person.

I’m not upset to see him go, personally I think he needs a year in college at a place that isn’t Kentucky.

It would stink given the history but going to a team like Indiana where he could be a star player on an average team would be good for his confidence and development on the offensive end.

But to be a pro in the NBA he needs to do two things, one is learn to play defense, and two is to remember that he can jump very high. Guy is a good athlete but he voluntarily plays below the rim a lot, and games like the Kansas game where he’s the best player on the floor is when he’s jumping and playing above the rim.

Good luck Keion.

I forget how toxic this board is. It's a wonder we land any recruits with fans like these

I would like to see how many minutes he would get at another big school. Just to see if Calipari really showed him that much preference or if other coaches see what he saw.
