there is quite a bit more to that story being omitted though.....gas was low due to covid lockdowns and no demand.....gas rose coming out of covid because the global demand rebounded much faster than the oil producers could ramp up, hence low supply and high demand equaled the higher cost on a global scale and Russia invading Ukraine
It’s just a matter of time at this point until the all-time record for gas prices is shattered, and it will be under Trump’s watch. I’m interested to see how the goalposts shift then. What will they pull out of the Biden toolbox next?

when Obama left office to Trump the nat. avg for reg was $2.32 to $2.34.......under Trump it got as high as $2.96 and the lowest during lockdowns of $1.77 and when he left office the avg was $2.39
Why are you leaving out the Biden administration and Keystone pipeline?

I think the few right leaners here are concerned about Iran, and we definitely don't like seeing gas where it is. On the conflict with Iran? The last 40 some years each President, and potential ones before Trump, it's as if they all read off the same prompter, saying they are a major threat, can't be allowed to have... but now it's a problem that we are there.

No one that's paid ANY attention at all the last 7-8 years would say things were good before Trump became President.

Something that few talk about is Covid. It's like anyone over 40 has lived in two totally different worlds because of it. Life before Covid is now a new way. Nothing has been the same since.
Trump has already lost the war with Iran, and it was over four months ago. You can’t win a war without clear objectives. Wars aren’t won on vibes and BS, and that’s all this administration has. The Right is just pretending that’s not the case to inflate the old man’s ego because they’re scared of him. Meanwhile, American soldiers are being used as props and intentionally left in harm’s way.

He’s going to collapse the world economy by continuing this, and it’s all in service to his fragile ego. I know the bond market is way outside your wheelhouse, but you should find a smart person to explain it to you. Everyone should be deeply concerned by what’s going on.

There are a lot of rumors circulating right now that there was a significant strike on base in Jordan last night that possibly resulted in a lot of US casualties. As per usual, with this administration, no information has been released as of yet.
That last sentence was a doozy. No info released was Hiden Biden’s whole term. We went months without seeing him. The little Raggedy Ann press secretary had a heck of a time trying to answer any questions coming from conservative outlets.

“Gas prices became low due to Covid lockdowns”. You are aware that Trump was Pres for three years prior to Covid I assume?

So when Obama left office and Trump left office gas prices were essentially the same. Seems like an odd thing to point out given the overall tenor of your posting history.

In case you missed it, this was my response to your post earlier. Thoughts?

Gas was $3.12 a gallon on Biden’s last day in office. Today, during Trump’s presidency, the national average is $4.12. The average price of diesel is $5.68. We are 13 cents away from the all-time record.

This is happening today, by the way, not back in 2022. Gas spiked in 2022 because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which was obviously outside of the president’s control. Gas is high today because Trump decided to go to war with Iran, which is completely his fault.

Where’s your outrage at Trump? Why aren’t you talking about what’s happening today, right now? Is it just not convenient for you?
