I see a shorter, more athletic version of Vinny Zollo. Expecting around 10 points and 4 assists per game this year, along with some clutch shots in timely situations.

There is little to no similarity between Anderson and Quickley. Derek was a high flyer, ultra athletic player who would beat you off the dribble and then dunk it over everyone in his way. He could also shoot with a high percentage and play in your face defense. At this point in his career, Quickley can shoot from the outside. I liked what I saw from him in the Blue-White game and I think he is the most improved player on the team - but he is no Derek Anderson.

I don’t see Quickley dunking on anyone anytime soon. They remind me nothing of each other honestly.
I don’t see it at all. Don’t get me wrong, I like Quickley but he ain’t doing this on anybody this year.

I was extremely impressed by his play the other night. He looks great offensively and has a new swagger and confidence about him. I know we only have one game to conclude from, but he is so much better than last year.
I expect big things from Quickley. He appears to be much stronger and more explosive this year. The biggest improvement is his confidence level. He appeared a little tentative last year. He will be a silent assassin this year. His ability to make shots will be crucial. He also has good handles and appears more willing to take defenders off the dribble. If you crowd him he can go by you and if you don't he can bury the three. He is a long and understands defensive positioning. He can play 3 spots both offensively and on the defensive end. The 1 and 2 spot will be a 3 headed monster. Boston and Whitney ability to play the 2 and 3 make this teams perimeter very dangerous. Then you throw Juzang in for good measure.
