Seems that he's sent a LOI to the school of his choosing, and the fact that UK always keeps stuff under wraps and lets kids have their moment bodes well for us since no one "knows" his decision.
My guess...... he has no more information at this point than what everyone following this thread has already. Matt's the type though that can confirm or dispel these types of rumors, so I'll take it as a good sign nonetheless. He's not saying....he's just saying[winking]
That's the hope.Reading that insane thread, most of the in-the-know people are all but ceding to UK.
Hmm. I for real think we land Bamba and Knox.
I would think if I was in that position I would take all the free trips I could. Officials and unofficials to campus are probably a fun time. The one thing I still don't get, is why did he drive 6 hours to Syracuse the other day? Sounds like he was all but committed, then he goes to MSG for MSU/UK game.. I love Kentucky, but I do find it hard to believe that one night could totally alter his decision, a decision that's been building for almost 2 years.
.. unless Syracuse was never his top choice to begin with, and he'd rather have gone to one of the top programs, but only got buzz from them recently.
Let's get Quade Saturday, and ger Vanderbilt, young, Bamba, and Knox in the spring. Is that your #1 class?
I've thrown the misdirection possibility out there as well, and I'm still not convinced that isn't what is happening here.
However - the idea of putting out misdirection like this through the admins on the most popular Syracuse board would seem like a potentially bad idea. As big a recruit as Green is for Cuse, you could run the risk of fans doing something stupid like attacking the kid on twitter.
Plus, the visit to the UK game and the followup interview with his coach was enough to throw a little uncertainty in the mix. I'm not sure additional misdirection was needed.
Hot take here: If we get Green, pull the plug on Young.
No chance. I want Young starting at the 2. We need guards. You don't pull the plug on anyone.

If Quade commits to UK, shots on me for the whole board.

He said what he is wating for - he wants to see both teams play the first 2 months of the season . He will be Cat in the end so who cares how long he takes. I would take my time too.Green is really good but Young can put up 30 a night in college . Young , while not as good as Bamba or Knox or IMO as PJ ( who I think one of the 6-7 players in HS ) is the key to UK being a top 10 team next season by the end ( though we will lose a some games ) . Cal has to have a guard who can score and Young is it.Don't know what Young is waiting for. And don't love that I'm hearing word that top recruits don't want to play with him. Although we do need guards.. I'mn not sure Green wants to play with him either, and could screw this up if Green doesn't sign an LOI right away.
Right now, I want Green over Young.
Where do you live? I don't want no internet pretend shot. You need to buy me a shot at Chilis or Applebees.
Green is going to Cuse & has known for a while.....don't fall for the last minute buzz he's trying to build. Just using UK for attention.
I had some Titos and it feels like the worm has turned.
Vodka? God, they can't even correctly drink alcohol.
I go to UK, Makers Mark has a special place in my alcoholic self destructive heart.
He looks like fetty wap but with both eyesIf he commits to UK, Green needs to get Bamba to join him.
next year a line up of
Starters - Green/Young/Vanderbilt ( think we get him not Knox ) / Humphries/Bamba would be nice with a bench of Alexander /a grad transfer SG/PJ/Richards/SKJ
I think Washington is better so you might be right . I think PJ is one of the 6-8 best players in this class . Vanderbilt is more a true SF though .Washington would start over Vanderbilt
