A song as a movie. You can picture the whole scene as it’s sung. Westerberg wrote a solo song years later which kind of touched on the same idea of this song called Love Untold.

Great song. I think I’m going to go down an REM rabbit hole for a little while. I’ve never really delved into their catalog outside of the many songs I’ve heard.

There was a time where they seemed to be putting out a ton of music and I think I just heard them so often that I never felt the need to buy it (except for Monster, which is a great album). I think it’s time for me to correct that.

Outlaws were simply fantastic. Like a lot of other bands, they must not have been as "influential" as sheryl crow strumming 3 or 4 chords on her acoustic guitar though.

And the flight over pacific long enough to get drunk sober up and get drunk again. Fell asleep drunk to Greg Grass and High times, woke up to Green Grass and High Times and it is permanently seared into my sub conscious.........
