Williams had an injury. I don't know that he's injury prone. He also came back pretty quickly.

I’ve seen ppl say that our starting 5 is as good as UL & UT. I’ve seen ppl say we are one Momcilovic away from being a FF team. Gotta have a pretty great roster to be one player away. Ppl have said that we have the best backcourt in the country & the best at UK since Fox & Monk. I’ve even seen some say that we were a top 15 team, as is. Those ppl didn’t need any help at all from me to look delusional.

Why couldn’t he work on his game as a pro? With pro trainers, pro coaches, and pro support staff? Personally we haven’t seen what he could be if he works with a different staff. I hope he comes back, but to say it’s to work on his game really isn’t a great argument imo. It’s exactly what a team would do if they draft him.

That’s a little over the top, too. But, closer to reality than the things I listed. Jmo. WITH Moreno I think it’s a 19-13 (8-10) type team. Without Moreno, 15-20 losses isn’t out of the question, IMO.
I just love it when a fan declares he's not going to watch another game if he doesn't get his way. I see them every day. I don't give a rat's *** if any spoiled fan quits. They just change screen names and come back bitching the next day.

I have seen those. How many of those were sarcastic posts or trolls with new accounts posting ridiculous things to make the fan base look bad? Most I would bet. I do agree those posts would be delusional if the person who posted them actually believed what they wrote.

One crazy *** uncle talked about him because he thought his nephew was better than he is. I'm not defending Pope by any measure. At this point, I don't feel he's the right fit, but he's our coach this year. I don't wanna see how it turns out. But let's be honest a lot of people don't like them because of his religion or because he's a nice guy. And he will never give him a break because they never wanted him here. But there is so much negative hyperbole use by those individuals and even the media that I don't feel he gets a fair chance to be honest with you. I think many people ignored the first year had which most professionals felt it was an excellent year with all considerations. The word I use last year is bizarre.. Yes, the entries are an issue, but that team wasn't put together in a way that they would play together and that's on Pope.. everybody talks as if Chandler ran away. He went back home into his wife's home.. he played for that coach for two years. Moreno has done nothing but said positive things about Pope but his eyeball on the NBA, which is totally understandable. Pope was a very educated man is compassionate about what he does and yes, I can see how at times what he says can be offputting. But he is the coach of this year's wildcat team and I'm gonna watch and support that team.
I don't see him staying either but usually when a player skips all of that it's because they're afraid their stock will fall if they do bad, basically they've already been told they're getting picked & where at. Doing bad in 5 on 5 & the agility drills could cause that team to 2nd guess picking them. Moreno has too many things to work on, footwork, hands, lateral quickness/moving his feet on defense, I think he's coming back.
Also I don't care about what religion he is or isn't. I hear he's a Mormon. Guess what I don't know what that is. He's what he is no matter what religion. That's all seperate. He's an odd character point blank. He's not what young kids are looking for. Sorry it's just not.
The players he gets are players that either are in state and grew up loving Kentucky or players that get a huge payday that other programs wouldn't want at the price we get them for.

I am finally just completely tired of college basketball. I want Moreno to do what is best for him and his, but I hope that he comes back to lexington this year. The whole thing is just broken ...traditional sports are getting dropped. The almighty dollar runs everything.

Before injury he was a back up that played limited minutes, had couple great games, and rest was mediocre especially in defense and driving to the basket. Defending and be able to drive to the basket are mandatory requirements for the small forward on a team that wants to chase number 9.
He go injured with no contact , on limited minutes. He needed surgery. that tells me his bones and ligaments have issues.
Yes , he come back quickly but dindt play or contribute significantly.
To ask this guy to be our main SF , with Noah also inured on limited minutes and Hawthorne injured while only practicing for a year doesn’t inspire exactly confidence that any of these guys would provide 20 minutes of highlevel basketball, just in the case MP is adding a starter at SF like Momcilovic .
We have too many bodies on our roster, that are not UK level, injured even without playing , and Mp added two relatives and another injury prone Center.
Half our roster is questionable , with the center and sf position completely open right now.
Again, one injury does not make someone pro will you just stop with that ****?. you literally degrade every player that we have at the same time acting like every other team has nothing but all stars. You're not the only one that does this basically everybody that wants Pope to Phil uses that to justify but we have some Quality players.
