We are going through the tailgating back and forth here too (hint- it will ultimately be whatever athletics wants). But its just not as simple as anyone ants to make it out. With no centralized tailgating, people are going to find other pockets just off campus to congregate. So our resources will be stretched thin monitoring that. And the tailgating here actually controls the flow of crowds going into the stadium- people come in over the course of a few hours which allows for an entry process thats relatively easy. There are other components of the gameday process which its critical too... but I assume the PR hit from being a football program tied to live video feeds of people not socially distancing isnt something they want to entertain.

Not that its a huge deal but that means no campus Gameday shows, etc... Eliminating tailgating is step one to eliminating just about every other gameday activity thats going to crush local vendors.

My version was like an electrical short circuit fever for three days. I had back aches, sluggishness for another two weeks...lost taste and smell for 10 weeks.

I’d say my sense of smell is 99% back.
