***Golf Post Warning
Jared Wolfe, current Korn Ferry Tour player (and winner this year) played my course yesterday, he's close friends with our Pro and stops in to visit when he's in town.
Even Par 36 on the front...with 3 bogeys.
-10, 26 on the back, for a smooth
62, which is now the non-tournament course record, lmao.
Started the back:
Birdie
Eagle
Birdie
Eagle (par 4)
Birdie
Eagle (par 4)
Just hard to wrap my head around that. We've had many of the best players in the area out this year in various tournaments, multiple Am & KY Open winners, etc. I've seen a 68 and a 69, but generally our course holds up just fine. One of my buddies fired a 67 earlier this year in a casual, but the difference between 67 and 62, while only 5 shots, is about as wide as the difference between an 85 and a 70.
The various "levels" of great golf, and the talent gap between them, is just incredible. Even the better Web/Korn guys, are just from another planet from even the best golfer you've ever known (unless he's on Tour)
