You keyboard athletes need to know you cant cheat the game.

Being medically cleared doesnt mean you should be practicing at full speed.
I am pretty sure that is the exact definition of medically cleared.

Not cleared - can't play or practice
Cleared to Practice - no games but can participate in conditioning and non contact drills, to build up strength and flexibility.
Medically Cleared - the injury is healed and the player can participate at full speed.

Yeah they cleared me to play and after 3 days I was out for another month.

Just because there is no pain doesn't mean you are ready for all out play.

And definitely doesn't mean you are ready to perform at the same level as before the injury.

and when was that? And for what level? Just because you were cleared by a Dr, doesn't mean the Dr that works with D1 caliber athletes would. Also, he played late in the fall and went through winter conditioning with it.

In Real Football World, Fidone being cleared for practices over 3 months after he played in a game is not considered controversial, but quite normal.

So you think the doctors just asked Fidone if he was feeling any pain and then cleared him to play based on that response? Please.

Am I missing something here? Has it been officially confirmed that Fidone blew out a knee? I see nothing in the public domain about this, just internet rumors. Often times people on here do have inside information and it turns out to be accurate. But sometimes it turns out not to be. And so I wait...

While there is nothing official yet, he did in fact blow out his knee. If history has shown us anything, Frost won’t say anything about it until the day before or after his surgery (next week).

And you know this how? Not questioning your honesty here, but would like to know if you got this from someone who knows or you are just judging internet rumors to be true.

At a D1 school playing against high level athletes

Maybe He shouldn't have done any of that if he blew out the same knee.

Why would you waste a couple of snaps on a guy coming back from a major injury.

That alone was stupid.

The rumor is true. How bad he hurt his knee or which one I am not sure but he is injured.

My source is an actual human source that so far has been reliable. Left ACL is torn, getting it fixed early next week.

So a medical doctor released him to play and he did. At what point was he suppose to get back to the field and play? When he felt strong enough? When random female in the Ft Worth area of Texas says he can?

you can only go with the advice of the professionals. The school and Fidone did that. Sorry you had a setback in the past, but most athletes who return from injury, with a doctor’s release, do not have setbacks.

I heard it from the same guy who insists the Dublin game is being moved to Vegas.

Lol..its your body not the Doctor's

They dont own you. You don't have to get back on the field until you are ready.

And I'm a male using my wife's account.

Common sense tells you the longer you wait to play again the stronger your knee will be.

He could get back on the field this summer when we actually need him.

But hey get those 6 snaps in. It makes a difference....lol

By this logic, what if HE was the one wanting to get back more quickly than he should have. I mean, it's his body right?
Then it's his faught.

But we paid someone 5 million a year to make the best decisions for the program.

Kids always want to play to prove their worth.

Went to the doctor last week and got a prescription for my blood pressure. Now I’m thinking about not taking the meds until I feel ready.

At the very least, I’m going to ease myself into taking the meds. Maybe one day a week and build up to daily over the next 3 months.

So by this logic he should wait for.........how long?

Common sense says there is a point of diminishing returns on how long someone waits. You know who knows what that point is? the medical team assessing the athlete.
