1. Fidone injured his knee last April. He was recovered from the injury during last season. Kids that get medically cleared practice and then play when they are ready.
2. We don't know if he has actually re-injured his knee, or injured the other knee.

You keyboard athletes need to know you cant cheat the game.

Being medically cleared doesnt mean you should be practicing at full speed.

And a player isnt the same as before the injury until almost a year afterwards.

Anyone who has played a lick of sports knows that.
It has been a year.. so thanks for proving my point even further dumbass.. We don't even know which knee, if it's even a knee injury, etc.. So go play doctor somewhere else

Actually, I'm not sure we know whether he is injured at all.

He didn’t play in any games but he was practicing from what I heard..

He 100% played in a football game last year for the Huskers, what are some of you even talking about..... SMH

FWIW I don't post about stuff I have no clue about, some of you should do the same.

If it was the Wisconsin game I don’t remember seeing him playing..

I’m wrong he had 3 meaningless snaps..

I heard it is an ACL and it will be repaired sometime next week. I don’t know if it’s the same knee or not.

That should have been my point 3.
I read on another website that some started to rumor because they didn’t see him at practice but another one said they saw him. So until he says something or the coaches confirm a injury then it’s all speculation

He was playing in a game 4 months ago. There would have been no reason at all to hold him out of a scrimmage last week.
You keep your opinion and I’ll keep mine. If it is the same knee, i don’t care if it was 11 months ago. A potential difference maker because of his size and speed, the speed part just might not be the same again. Damn.

Football doesn’t count till August start of practice. Especially a player less than a year removed from ACL surgery. Medical science hasn’t shortened just normal passage healing time.

18- 24 months was the standard time to regain full speed if no other ligaments were torn. Fifteen practices in spring is nice but the 29 in the fall is more defining and important. Well Tom doesn’t have to worry about being full speed in August if true. Another Nebraska setback which is standard operating procedure In various forms. Sorry if that is venting but that is what i am doing.

Coming off a major injury at a position we have no playmakers at.

I'd want him as strong as possible.
You know to build strength you must exercise the body, correct? He was cleared all the way to the point that he saw on field action last year. He was well past the recovery period. Dudes just one of those guys who's knees will forever be f*cked or he'll get stemcell or something and be completely fine lol

Edit: didn't see everyone already talked about how he played a couple snaps last year. My B
