I’m sure the doctors and training staff know more about his knee than you do…Wouldn't have let him practice til the summer or camp.
Dumb to even have him out there. .

It is just a dumb comment.I’m sure the doctors and training staff know more about his knee than you do…
Fidone has limited experience and needs all the practice he can get. Plus the offense has been tweaked so it helps to get live reps.
Umm, he was playing in the Fall.Wouldn't have let him practice til the summer or camp.
Dumb to even have him out there. .
They practice inside. Grass doesn't grow indoors.Unpopular opinion get rid of artificial turf. Could have happened anywhere though I guess.
Cursed for sure, tho.
Dont practice inside. They practice inside. Grass doesn't grow indoors.
Please explain why it was dumb to have him out there. He's almost a year out from his surgery. **** happens and nobody is to blame for thisWouldn't have let him practice til the summer or camp.
Dumb to even have him out there. .
Worse than this?maybe there is someone on this site who can share what's being reported from the other site. I use to belong but found there was way to much fighting and not enough civil discussion.
If you are really this much of a dolt, just shut up.How many times is this strength staff going to bring kids back too early from these injuries? SMH
Simple. It’s because he got hurt. Had he not gotten hurt it would have been a great idea to get him out there and learn the offensePlease explain why it was dumb to have him out there. He's almost a year out from his surgery. **** happens and nobody is to blame for this
Maybe he is? Never has he had live action….. until he does something on the field for us it is what it isHate to tell you this but he is a difference maker for this offense…
But yea we have no other option but moving forward…
I'm not a religious or overly superstitious guy, but maybe it's time to burn lots of sage in and around Memorial Stadium and conduct a few exorcisms. Also, find the Husker football voodoo doll that some a$$hole puffalo and Iowa sucks fans have been poking.I'm hearing bad news. Is this new? I've been away awhile.
I used to be on RSS. It was mentioned there, on Reddit, and Juan on Twitter. Too much smoke not to be something there.Where did you hear it in the first place?
From someone that rarely posts, it’s odd you heard this before anyone else..
I heard they're going to have to amputate. KIDDING!
So it's not a thigh bruise?
sacrificing a virgin would probably be necessary. I heard it helped in the past.I'm not a religious or overly superstitious guy, but maybe it's time to burn lots of sage in and around Memorial Stadium and conduct a few exorcisms. Enough is enough.
Just the same old "I was at practice" that you can't trust. One poster said he didn't see Fidone another said he did. One poster said it was a knee to the thigh. Poster said it happened on Saturday which couldn't happen because no practice on Saturday. Posters asked for Dean's input. Dean said everyone is on spring break so nothing coming from football offices. Flip a coin. Could all be rumors just like game against NW being played in Vegas.maybe there is someone on this site who can share what's being reported from the other site. I use to belong but found there was way to much fighting and not enough civil discussion.
I do believe he played at the end of last season but nothing significant.Hate to tell you this but he is a difference maker for this offense…
But yea we have no other option but moving forward…
That kind of attitude just won't do around herenobody is to blame for this
I've not seen any evidence that we actually have more season ending injuries than anybody else. We could always go back to the Callahan years where we didn't hit in practice. Of course, Fidone's original injury still would have happened because it was non-contact. The obvious thing to do would be to go to natural grass....but then people still blow out knees on natural grass. One has to remember that we have nearly TWICE as many players on our roster as many other college teams due to the walk on program. You would expect twice as many injuries given that fact.I've posted before how I feel Nebraska has had more injuries than other teams in the B10...not sure it is just a coincidence anymore. S&C or something has to be going on.
are you sure we have had more? Or is it just that you pay more attention to Neb because you are a fan.I've posted before how I feel Nebraska has had more injuries than other teams in the B10...not sure it is just a coincidence anymore. S&C or something has to be going on.

Difference maker? Maybe. Maybe not. A lot of hype which is nice, but I’ll reserve judgement until I see him actually do it on the field. I hope you’re right.Hate to tell you this but he is a difference maker for this offense…

And hasn't played a meaningful down. Look, I think the kid has all of the tools as well, but until we see it we don't know. Huge recruit, but if you never see the field it is the equivalent to a scholly on a kid who doesn't perform. Need other TE's to step up.Maybe? Kid is super athletic, has the height, can jump, really long reach, soft hands.
Like I said, I hope you’re right. I guess we’ll see.Maybe? Kid is super athletic, has the height, can jump, really long reach, soft hands.
Coming off a major injury at a position we have no playmakers at.Why?
We'll have to see how they emerge. Need lots of guys to step up big timeComing off a major injury at a position we have no playmakers at.
I'd want him as strong as possible.
The average recovery time for an ACL is 8-9 months. It's been 12..Coming off a major injury at a position we have no playmakers at.
