Are you that ignorant to think the biggest issue that Clark has is her back bothering her? Really? You don't see ALL of this coming at her from both sides and her in the center of this storm, (one she did not create) may very well be weighing heavily on her mentally? Do you really think if this were to continue for the next ten years and it doesn't back way down, (not sure how you control social media), that she'll still be playing in 2036? Add in other reasons like, maybe she wants to have a family, and she may very well have made 100 million dollars in the next 5 or 6 years, regardless I'd be shocked if she'll be around that long given the current climate. I don't give a hoot, how much money she makes, or about any of the race baiting or politics. I would just like to see her play at the best of her ability and see just what that would look like as she becomes a veteran in the league. It could be an amazing time, like watching Tiger, Michael, Magic, Bird, Gretzky, etc... again. Unfortunately I think we will be deprived of seeing another generational player in their sport because of everything swirling around her. So sad really.....
I don't know what, "ALL of this coming at her", means, or is in reference to.
But not sure why ANY of it has to exist within CC's mind. Her job is simply to play ball. Pretty much all athletes are told to stay off social media.
I do think CC is under too much stress. Vedic medicine tells us that the body stores stress in the lower back.
This is part of what I warned people about when they started calling CC the greatest women's basketball player of all-time, 2 years before she had ever played professionally. That it would create a backlash that would make things very difficult for her.
They created a superhero, savior, ambassador, role-model, type figure that is a lot to live up to, should one try. Let alone, they created an image of a basketball player in their minds, that is nearly impossible to attain.
CC needs to get healthy, stop worrying about anything else but ball, get a pair of earmuffs, play ball, and pray that people stop making excuses for her. It only detracts from her greatness.
Yes, injuries are sad. But that's what has derailed CC's career so far. They happen. She is the first of the athletes you mentioned, to have her injury blamed on something/someone else
