I'm with Meola, I don't know that that was intentional. It looked like a cross to me too. If it was intentional what placement and touch off a header.Amazing header by Vertonghen 2-1
It's aweseome. Thought I may have came in a little late with Japan up 2-0 but nope seems like I came in at a good timeThis is nuts 2-2!!
Oh wow two great saves in a row by the Japanese goalie, nice job.
I enjoyed it and I only really got to watch the last 25-30 minutes of it. I must be good luck for Belgium they started their scoring a little while after I started watching haha.Great game
Rutgers free board jinx strikes again. Thanks @MadRU, I'm all in on Belgium this year. WOW what a great last goal!2-0 Japan, Belgium in big trouble now
Not a big soccer fan but I haven't cared for their coverage either and it's not even the technical stuff like you mention. Have never liked Dellacamera, color guys eh, Lalas even though RU guy eh....but some of them were on ESPN too. I like Ian Darke myself.I dont know if he is biased but I did notice during the Portugal-Uruguay match (I think or maybe France-Argentina?) hearing some of his comments and just shaking my head.
Not a great job by Fox overall IMO.
On that note - did anybody see the pregame graphic "Portugal undefeated against non European competition in the World Cup" the other day?
Ummm is the US in Europe now (2002)? How does that not get caught by somebody?

Ventonghen goal was awesome. Lucky? Aren't they all? It was truely indefensible though. The talent actually came through..some good luck on that vertonghen goal! Belgium showed it still has major deficiencies though. I dont think they get past Brazil
Ok..just thought of an exciting method. Add a 2nd ball for the 2nd it and a 3rd for the third lol. How crazy funny would that be.You have multile days off. Keep playing soccer
Drink!I went into a meeting and Belgium were down 2-0; I come out - :flushed: ! Wish I was on vacation this week as well. Unbelievable tournament so far, and now we have a quarterfinal match-up worthy of a final. Winner of Belgium-Brazil takes it all.
Japan grew noticbly tired around the 65th minute. Their work rate up till then was astonishing. They continued to work hard, but after the 65th minute, decision making was a bit off and transition defense was slowed.
I don’t know the Japanese roster, but I wonder what made their coach so slow to sub some energy onto the field. Perhaps the great chemistry on the field warranted a bit of time to see if it was truly fatigue or maybe just a lull.
Belgium’s coach made some good subs and a bit of adjustment in play on D to cover the edges a bit better.
What a game.
I think we'll find out who is deeper, Belgium or Brazil.Belgium - deepest team in the field
Japan - NOT even close
I think we'll find out who is deeper, Belgium or Brazil.
After Germany's flame-out, my money is now on Brazil, who have not peaked yet, and appear to be getting stronger as the tournament goes on. Although they have some injury and yellow-card issues which might make the next round difficult.
I should have said "seemed" not to have peaked. Sorry. Now you sound like Stu Holder Lol... How on earth do you know that Brazil hasn’t “peaked yet”?! I give a lot of credit to Brazil’s win, yesterday, Osario to be honest. His personnel decision making the last two games Mexico played in was ******* awful. Still not sold on Brazil, sorry, but not really sold on anyone to be honest ha ha Ha!! #hookersandblow
Lot of Colombian fans in the office? Or just excitement haha.I just heard the equalizer at my desk, coming from the cafeteria downstairs.
I work at a Distribution Center. Lots of excitement Monday for Brazil v Mexico, some more excitement for Colombia today. And they all want to see England lose.Lot of Colombian fans in the office? Or just excitement haha.
