These guys have been waiting years to let loose with this stuff. It's like Christmas time if you're on the radio.

Severe is the best around. He needs his own drive time show.

If that is true, then no wonder we started the season 1-2, almost 0-3, to NW, Georgia Southern, and North Dakota.

That performance made our previous coach 7 million EXTRA on his buyout.

Dang. IF these things are true then I would think that would constitute firing with cause if someone not fulfilling their obligation

anyone hear the one about SF insisting on a video call instead of an in-person visit with the entire Raiola family (#1 QB) due to too many margs on the links this summer?

yea, me neither

Yep. That one is taking on a Cornhusker Hotel-type life of its own.

I have heard some things about Frost personally, like he chases skirts a lot, plays favorites...those types of things. But the things Severe talks about...I've never really heard before. I was wondering how long it would take until we heard some of that real *juicy* inside info...it really is a just a fascinating study in how to achieve the lowest levels of failure.

Michael got the ball rolling pretty good with that one. And that's just a teaser

Makes you understand and appreciate Trev's comments about wanting a grinder and someone without "hobbies".

Awesome!
Knew it wouldn’t be long before Trev and co started dragging Frost

Next best thing to winning

Frosts camp turn to respond

I’ve heard rumors questioning how much time he put in. We have to have a head coach that eats sleeps and drinks coaching if we’re going to be successful

If not him, at least the assistants were slacking too much. Troy Dumas pointed this out last year.

It's one thing for the fans to throw out rumors and you discount them, it quite another when you have sports talk people telling us we've had a problem for years with our HC. It all comes down to maturity and after watching Frost slide down the railing outside Memorial Stadium I started having questions about Frosts maturity.

Yeah, it was obvious how dysfunctional things were just by watching this team play. Despite Frost getting max media protection here, there were still a lot of rumors circling. Have a feeling we’re going to hear more like this in the coming months.

Theses stories have been circulating for some time. He ultimately got fired because of the W/L though.

Frost knew that with all the Frosties who declared him the messiah before even coaching a game and then defended the indefensible for years - he basically could just skate and collect checks for years while the Frosties blamed everyone and everything but him and when the losses piled up he could count on the loyalists to spout on about 5 year rebuilds, etc

before anyone caught on - he would have collected enough money to be set for life

IF that's all true, then one has to ask why didn't Trev fire Frost at the end of last season? He clearly had the chance to do that last year. Wouldn't have been any legit arguments from fans or media after the horrible record over 4 seasons.

Regardless of whether true or not, it was long past the time to move on.

This last loss and the W/L gave the opening but make no mistake Severe is right. It was “all of it”.

Great stories but bottom line is winning. If Frost was winning 10 to 13 games a year and winning BCS Bowls and had us as a top 5 team yearly, do you think people would care about the stories? Losing to GA Southern and a bunch of weak Big 10 West teams and never showing any improvement is why Frost is unemployed.

Boosters and Tom wanted him to give him this year with a much easier schedule.

It has been suggested that Trev was prevented from firing Frost last year.

You can't say if he won 9 games a year no one would care, becasue the lack of commitment is exactly why he didn't win 9 games a year. Had he invested into this program the time it takes to have a winning program, he probalby would have had a winning program. If what Severe says is true, and I have no reason to doubt that, I won't shed a tear if he blows his money ala Iverson and is plugging away at some DIII school in five or six years. He literally stole from us all.

These stories have a direct correlation to losing! You now have a better understanding why we couldn’t win with frost
