It’s just Barnhardt for me. I’m not mad at Pope. I’m a little mad at Cal because i think he just gave up on trying to win here in favor of draft night. In that last season it was clear he was sacrificing wins to push Edwards and DJ’s draft status.

But i dont and never have thooght Cal was a bad guy.

But Barnhardt is the #1 reason we are where we are now. He hung onto tubby too long. And gives incentives for too little. And now he’s made one of the laziest hires in Pope.

And if we end up with who Barnhardt wants as AD, one of his people basically…well…UK basketball is cooked.
It’s almost like he was TRYING to burn the thing to the ground with the MP hire.

The only thing I miss about Cal is the talented freshman he used to get to come to Kentucky

I love watching our guys dominate the nba. That will certainly come to an end once the last few Cal players exit their primes in about 10 years. I will miss that. SGA, Maxey, Bam going for 83…the nba has never been more fun for me. And that is all Calipari.

Statistically speaking, fouling up 3 at the end of a game is the smart move. Calipari lost out on another National Championship (Although it probably would've been vacated) by not doing so before.

It is if when you foul they only have enough time left to have to miss the 2nd FT on purpose like how we did it vs Tennessee.

Otherwise you go from they can tie the game to if you screw up the inbounds or the refs get involved like they did with Chandler or if you miss a FT now you go from them being able to only tie it to all of sudden they can win it.

I know we didn't foul in the Auburn game on purpose but it ended up being the same result up 3 and turned into a loss with 14 secs left when foul was called.

Hellava game by ole miss. Too bad, if they don’t win today and tomorrow, they won’t get a chance in the ncaat.

Cavs lost a game vs Detroit a few weeks ago up 3 when they fouled the guy at half court with 3 seconds left and the ref called it for 3 FT's so you always that can happen as well

If only Kentucky had the "hard to kill the will" of Ole Miss

They did for about a month of the season when they won like 8 of 9 and came back from double digits on several occasions. Unfortunately the team has regressed since then.

Richmond was another guy we would have on this team right now if Cal was still here. Man the team we could have had. I get no one wants him here as a coach but he sure could get us players.

Not true. Some idiot on here has watched basketball for three decades and says they’ve improved. 🙄

I’m not convinced Cal would have kept them around here. That’s something that’s changed. Maybe because of NIL. But richmond talked about being one snd done when he committed to us. And the team we would have had last season would have been worse than what he had at Arkansas last year. People forget that. We wouldn’t have had Brazille, the kid from FAU, and a few others that he held over at arkansas. It was not going to be pretty. We probably miss the tourney last year if Cal had stayed.

Well Ole Miss had their chance with the 3 ball for the win and it didn't go down

I don’t think they beat vandy but we’ll see.

Ever since Florida was eliminated I've felt like Arkansas and Cal were going to win the SEC Tournament so the fanbase has something else to be miserable about.

And then posters who spent years begging for "CCC" to be fired will be starting threads about what a mistake it was to run him off.

It was a mistake if Pope was gonna be the guy. This just confirms it.
