Yes. Absoloutly. Cal was done. He still is. He will never win another titles.
I’ve been adamant since the Kansas state loss in like 2018 that he should have been fired. We were just delaying the inevitable. It’s 100% on that complete loser Mitch that we ended up with pope.
The fact remains, Cals time was over. It has been for a decade.

We deserve the ridicule, especially the Cult of Pope. Anything that gets that jackass out of Kentucky faster.

My thinking is Vandy is sleeping in their own beds, has been dominant in both wins over two tourney teams, one a legit title threat, and is coming back to play in the same gym they just hit 10 3’s in.

Arkansas has been dragged across the finish line by two freshmen mainly against two non tourney teams, one with a losing record, they badly outmatched talent wise.

Kind of reminds of when lost to tennessee in the semi’s in 2022. We struggled the game before with a very bad Vandy team. It was similar in 2019 as well. Lost to tennessee on saturday both years after not putting away a bad team on friday.

Who knows though. Arkansas clapped Vandy earlier in the season.

Pope is our personal hell. We better get out of it soon or things will get so much worse for us.

Obviously not. Why is this such a difficult concept for you all to understand.

Cal isn’t the right guy.
Pope isn’t the right guy.

It doesn’t matter who we were going to hire, keeping cal guaranteed we weren’t going to win. He’s washed. Has been for ten years. Just because pope sucks *** and needs gone does not negate the fact that cal sucked *** and needed gone.

And let’s not forget they literally had similar seasons where pope went to Arkansas and beat his ***. lol the mental gymnastics with some of you is astounding

I hated Pitino at UL but I like that guy now. Guaranteed I will never have anything positive to say about Cal.

Whatching STJ destroying UConn again, confirms that our best win of the season was just a bone that RP threw to Pope to keep him alive.

It would be really nice to get an AD who would go after a Tommy Lloyd. It would be fun to have a squad like Zona again.
