RU vs Purdue 2/25/16 Game Thread

No offense at all, and we got burned twice on an under the basket inbounds play (a recurring theme throughout the season.) The team looks sluggish, tired on offense. Not much inside, we should try for open looks at threes at this point.

this team looks like they cant be bothered to play with intensity...Purdue isn't that good matchup wise. RU just going through the motions on defense. We would mop this team up years ago. Its so disappointing..something is seriously wrong with this program, so much talent wasted.

Twenty points at halftime!! Nine points behind. I can't recall a RUWBB team who has underachieved as much as this one. We are lacking the firepower to come back.......what to do, coach?
the thing is that at most programs if they have a down year you can live it knowing there is a chance for better...at RU you know this is it. last year was the best they had and they blew it, tanking down the end of the season...yes Davis got hurt but there was more than enough this team...that's why they got stuck with 8 seed and Davis got hurt way after the team started sputtering. So this year we lose 3 players and next year will be ugly with a capital U. We are limping to irrelevancy under CVS so whoever gets the program will get it basically with nothing...almost the same as when Grentz left...following the same pattern as Teresa

It's nice to see the press create chaos! Now if we can only make an inside shot. I don't like the way the refs are calling this half, though regarding non-calls on fouls.
43-38....23-9 run this half...running on all cylinders...see this is why I get disappointed with this team...we know that they are capable of play like this but yet mentally they pull no shows
Id rather the refs not call fouls, it will work to our advantage on the defensive end

It's so great when they play with intensity like they are showing in the 3rd quarter. Must keep it up. This game is crucial.
