That dude will be starting from Day 1. Throw in the other Juco kid who is an electric return man Tre, with Malachi and the rest and we finally have some speed and playmakers at WR.
Now the question is who will be throwing it? HH is a good dude and excellent runner, but his passing is below average when you look at other teams qbs.

Assuming we can land these two and we have a healthy IGC, our WR corps looks nice next year assuming no injuries. Lots of youngsters though.
We need them to step up with two of the guys from this last class moving over to DB.

I’ll just say this though, I don’t like giving a multiple offender hoodlum a third chance. Is what it is though. As some guy on a video said though, we can’t get 5 star guys the normal way, they won’t come here…

Hes an average runner too.

He leaves yards on the field on many runs.
Agree. He's big and physical enough to grind out some yards that others would not, but he has zero wiggle and maybe 30-40% of the times will finish a run like Taylor Martinez... stand straight up and let the defender deal the blow.

The speed option where the defenders leave a hole for him and scrabbling straight ahead during a drop back are his only big threat running. QB draw, option attack where he is forced to pitch, and anything that requires side to side cutting typically yield very little or leave a huge chunk of yards on the table.

I like the kids toughness and ability to churn out drives. But his passing is very below average and it appears we will would really struggle to take advantage of good speed and route running at WR with him at QB, unless his accuracy improves markedly... However I do have to say he does have the arm strength.

Callahan, Sipple and Washut said they thought he may have been one possession away from being benched for Sims against NW. The way they’re going after receivers suggests the plan is to grab a better passer before next season. I hope to god that is the case. The days of one-dimensional offenses winning anything of meaning are long gone.

We are not going anywhere as a program with HH as our QB. He is a placeholder QB this year since our transfer, Sims, was a bust. Next year it is Kaelin and hopefully a transfer QB with some talent. HH can hang around as a valued back up with experience. But the dude cannot throw, is not as good a runner as people say he is (his QB sneaks are painful to watch), cannot see wide open receivers, and tosses too many pics. So if we do get these hot shot wide receivers coming in we need a much better QB.

Love his grit, but if he is serious about playing at the next level, he should learn the TE position.

No no no no no. You guys haven’t been paying attention. Please read the post about next year’s qb to get yourselves right. Oh, and stop rooting against Nebraska. Thank you.

I've always kind of wondered....what makes us think any really good P5 QB would like the QB situation at Nebraska? I mean we have a 10 game junior starter back next year, potentially some guy that was brought in to be the man, didn't pan out and then a highly regarded QB locally coming in....if I were a QB looking to transfer, I am guessing there are much better situations to walk into than the one we have here. Maybe NIL would be factor, but I think it would be a pretty tough sell.

New coach, not afraid to play the best guy. Not much proven qb depth, so a chance for early playing time as a starter. Probably some big positives, but im not a 17-18 year old QB, and obviously a Husker fan, so my opinion doesn't mean ****.

All he has to do is watch a game. Or, look at stats. Any transfer worried about what we have or going up against a true frosh isn’t going to make it anywhere

All he would have to do is watch a.couple games and he should be salivating at the thought of a qb battle with what we've got.
