Someone mentioned so called rumors of Kienholz wanting out of OSU and maybe coming to Neb.
Seemed silly, but I’m thinking about it, he’s from South Dakota, is buried behind a junior, a RS frosh and there’s a 5 star QB committed for 2024. He won’t ever play there and we need a QB so it makes a lot of sense actually. But we should get another as well. That way, we have 4 QBs on campus for Fall 2024… Kienholz, Kaelin, Haarberg, and another QB. We can’t afford to waste time on Purdy and Sims, they can both get their degrees and grad transfer out. (Hopefully)

We'll all be fine with him getting a second chance. Until he messes something up on the field. Like drops a touchdown pass. Then we'll all be like, "Isn't that the guy who beats up girls?"
Who said anything about getting on the field? The only troubled super talent I can remember even getting to play recently is that Mo Washington and the couple games he played was only because Frost made a second set of rules just for him.

Well, first of all, my post was (mostly) sarcasm. But if we don't plan on him seeing the field, why are we recruiting him? I guess I'm not following you here.

Sorry, I was jokingly taking the (ridiculous) stance that a staff would want to have 4 and 5 star talent on signing day even if it was virtually a lock that those kids would never get to play. I didn't mean to sound critical of your post.

And I call it ridiculous because it realistically is, but there were times when I actually wondered if Frost just signed a kid because of his recruiting stars and all the while knew he would probably never play.

Frost seemed to sign quite a few kids that it appeared most programs backed off for whatever reason. I think it was probably just due to the general laziness and taking flyers to fill the class.

My first thought when seeing this picture….Coaching staff still has concerns if he is as solid as he says he is. I know this rig was at Brix school earlier this week, did it also make stops at B West and Westside this week? Hmmmm……
