The same curse as Greg Schiano. Defense great, offense non-existent. Works good once or twice every 10 years, better than nothing if you keep them around
This team is so unprepared and plays without any energy. I can’t comprehend how anyone can defend this.
Turn off your computer/phone. You can be a great poster but after a loss and during games for the most part you are one of the worst.
Horrible roster mismanagement not having more bigs or any guards that can attack the basket . Also we used to play hard , now we don’t and pike has never been an offensive coach

I watch every game. I don’t recognize this team from what I’ve seen from Pike. I definitely will be the first to admit I’m wrong if they turn it around. I look at the bench though and can’t say that I’m super optimistic.
How do I see what? It’s a bad team. I still think there is some chance they improve but this is obviously a horrible stain on the resume that will be difficult to overcome.
Having a bad team after two successful seasons doesn’t make anyone an embarrassment.
I agree it’s like he’s lost the team..just like during our slump last season….actually worse…at least Young always gave 100%.
If he hasn’t already; pike really needs to reevaluate how he coaches and recruits . Too late for this year but something has got to time. Time for some serious soul searching. It will get worse next year too and most likely people will transfer and you know it will happen .

If you want to know what a good coach looks like you should have watched the very seasoned Lafayette coach who ran circles around Pike with non athletes who played like a TEAM. A Lafayette motion offense consisting of back door cuts, picks, and deception. Their offensive scheme was better than their players who kept us in the game with constant turnovers. Compare it with the stationary quadrant scheme run by Pike which eschews baskets in the paint for ineffective plodding perimeter passing followed by long contested jump shots attempted by players with hands that would make Edward Scissorhands jealous.
Pikiell's preseason hype when ONLY the diehards are paying attention was the dumbest ******* thing he could've done. Burned all of his goodwill and the fans' confidence in him in three weeks. Unbelievable.

Pike shoveled that B.S. knowing the cupboard was bare with a wink and nod towards Hobbs to sell seats $$$$$$$$ and it worked.
Pike is 2-2 against Seton Hall with one win coming when both Myles Powell (G- League) and Mamu ( Bucks 2 way player) were not available most/all of the game. Laughable to think SHU ducked RU. The Hall would have lost home court advantage during a COVID restricted season, sandwiched between two RU homecourt seasons with fans.

Or its a team who is trying to figure itself out because besides Ron and Geo, everyone, including Cliff, was trying to find a new role on this team. I think with taking Jalen Miller off redshirt and giving Mag more minutes have made a world of difference, esp Clemson and now Purdue.
Been wanting Mag to get more minutes and love Miller's defense and intensity. Both of them bring that hard nosed lock down D hustle mentality that we need as a team that struggles offensively. Huge start for Mag.

Could be a little of both. We will know more on Sunday. Hyatt's role has been reduced since 2 fouls on 3pt attempts @ UMass. Jaden's shot isn't falling seems to be affect his effort in his all around game like a Freshman goes through sometimes. We are going to need both players offensive skills in the bulk of.the B1G schedule, hopefully they get all parts of their games right by January.
