People think we should hold this team to like 50-60 points? Give me a break. They have a good offense. The shooting percentages are not great for them and the refs have helped them and given them a ton more respect than they deserve as far as FTs. UK is going to put up 90+ in this game with ease most likely and that will be enough.

This is the problem with playing these teams. The officials naturally take it upon themselves to somehow level the playing field and take away our biggest advantages. Namely size and strength. Just because university of short **** can't play with biggest athletes doesn't mean you even up the difference. An officials job is to just to straight up call it but they think it's broader than that
Officials think they’re bigger than the game nowadays.

I'm convinced they are told by their management to "create entertainment". Completely convinced.

OMG
Just looked down and realized I’m still wearing a green shirt. I forgot to change into my U.K. shirt before the game
Question is...should I go change now? Would it mess things up?

Leave it alone...

He averages less than 3 fouls per 40 minutes. You play him 3/4ths of the half if you can.
Ideally he plays 3/4 of the half. I'm just not sure I start him the first quarter of the half. He picks up a fourth foul before the first TV timeout, then he'll sit most of the half.

I watched the other 2 games today, and just did not see the type and number of fouls called. Maybe I wasn't paying close attention, but I say a lot more bumping and stuff going on with no calls.

Nope. Definitely not.

They called a ton of fouls in SEC play. The SEC is usually one of the conferences with the most fouls called.

But today it seems to be happening even in the tournament.

Come out in the 2nd half, put a mini-run on them, and this game is over. Doesn't have to match what Villanova did today, but get this up to 15 and they will absolutely freak the f out. Already saw signs of that in the first half.

Kind of obvious, but the first 5 minutes is huge. We extend the lead, we hush the crowd and maybe kill their will a bit

We let them make a run, then it will be tight til the end
Obvious yes, but spot on.

And the biggest thing is to not let Clark get open looks from deep and to keep playing through SGA on the other end. Do those two things, win going away.

You hit the nail in the head with the officiating. Folks cry about missed calls. They are human, get over it.

Your point is lack of consistency and very well made. There are two issues. Inconsistency in a given game. This is a hideous thing and happens much too often. Complete and utter lack of professionalism. The second is inconsistency within a season. This shows lack of standards and oversight within the officiating community. It has has been evident all season.
Yeah. Good post. The refs are calling a great game. What game are you watching?

Was anyone able to go back on DVR and watch the play when Richards picked up the foul when the Buffalo player ran over 1 or 2 other guys?

What actually happened? Did Richards foul him before he charged?
