Why does Duke, UNC, Kansas...etc...never have to face officiating like this? Is it fear of repercussions?
He averages less than 3 fouls per 40 minutes. You play him 3/4ths of the half if you can.
We score 51, but you manage to find something to ***** about huh?
Yea the big guy turned and knocked Richards back by hitting him in the face. But no call. But several phantom fouls on us.
Up by 9 missing PJ and Knox for the much of the half. I'll take that!

Some bad calls both ways. Refs are calling it a bit too tight when compared to the rest of the games I've watched in this tournament.
Either Cal's teams are just traditionally foul prone, or for some reason refs love to chop up a game with whistles when we're in it.

Glad to see Hami playing good. Surprised as aggressive as he was he doesn't have 6 fouls already.
Cal's teams have never blocked out well. Outstanding rebounding teams? yes, but not b/c they were good at positioning and blocking out.
He's just always had long athletic teams, so that makes up for it.
Might want to look at their shooting percentage and the number of foul shots.
Hate the freaking constant tightly called games when we play. Buffalo only had 26 total fouls in their last game and we had 43. We have 24 already this game.
PJ is going to eat them alive second half. They got nothing for him.

wanted it to be 10 at half but 9 is ok as well. I wouldn't start KNox at 2nd half. bring him in with about 4 minutes in . Start Green/Diallo/Alexander/PJ and Gabriel.

I miss Wally too... just because Kenny Smith should never be on any show.
If you always wear UK when we win then do so. But if that shirt has ever been worn during a loss then keep the shirt on. Now you realize if we win you will have to wear that the rest of the tourney lol.
This is the problem with playing these teams. The officials naturally take it upon themselves to somehow level the playing field and take away our biggest advantages. Namely size and strength. Just because university of short **** can't play with biggest athletes doesn't mean you even up the difference. An officials job is to just straight up call it but they think it's broader than that

Only concern are the touch fouls on us and them hitting us 2-3 times before a whistle. If he plays like that the second half without JV fouls could be a major problem. Could see Brad before it's all said and done. Wish JV could have just practiced lightly and dressed for use in case of emergency. Like our O, need to tighten up our D and get a fair whistle. Don't want to be in a FT shooting contest with these guys.

However, Buffalo is going to sag off of SGA and make someone else beat him. Who is that going to be? Wenyen and Green are going to have to make some shots.
