If you want a whatabout, whatabout the primary in Arizona yesterday where the DSA candidate lost big to a moderate Dem? These primaries reflect the characteristics of the voters in the respective district. If you are able to get out of the Trump talking points about communism, we can discuss a movement toward rebuilding the social safety net after Trump has damaged it, and to make up for past failures. I do believe we will buttress SS, come up with a better Universal Health coverage, probably free pre-school and housing assistance to allow the purchase of homes. It will be a long term movement. Why? Because that is what the younger voters want, and they will decide the future. In that regard, the US will come to more resemble European governments. Far cry from communism.

Greg Stanton was the incumbent and the DSA challenger's main criticisms were that Stanton was too moderate on Israel and immigration. Stanton is not AOC but he reportedly votes 90-95% with Jeffries in congress. The DSA guy had no chance and still got 35% of the vote. Stanton supports LGTBQ+, abortion, tax increases, etc.
I think of Fetterman as a moderate. Stanton is much better than either of our Dem senators but I wouldn't call him a moderate. If Newsome becomes president, Stanton will vote with him probably 90-95% of the time. I guess we can say he is a moderate for a Dem but left of center as a congressman?

Tried to set up blood draw, lab examination and Dr appt.
The AI computer wanted to give me an appointment of August 19 th.
