You are always good for whataboutism, downplay and deflect when responding to a post. That is pretty weak for a guy in his mid 70s.
You are unable to see the facts or premise in my post as your cult brain requires you to see it as deflection or whataboutism in order to avoid reality. Just like you and the Trump cultists have to keep reassuring themselves that the Red Scare will save the mid-terms. A few DSA candidates have won in areas with a younger, educated progressive population. As I have posted, it is part of the generational change replacing the old with younger candidates. It is limited to NY, one in Colorado, San Fran, Portland , Seattle. Nothing new really those areas have had their own younger fringe progressivism. If you want a whatabout, whatabout the primary in Arizona yesterday where the DSA candidate lost big to a moderate Dem? These primaries reflect the characteristics of the voters in the respective district. If you are able to get out of the Trump talking points about communism, we can discuss a movement toward rebuilding the social safety net after Trump has damaged it, and to make up for past failures. I do believe we will buttress SS, come up with a better Universal Health coverage, probably free pre-school and housing assistance to allow the purchase of homes. It will be a long term movement. Why? Because that is what the younger voters want, and they will decide the future. In that regard, the US will come to more resemble European governments. Far cry from communism.
