Parts of the country have definitely gotten hotter in recent years. Phoenix’s 2 hottest years on record are 2024 and 2025. This winter/spring is its hottest on record. Northern cities are seeing more 90 degree days than they did in the past.
It’s tough to discuss this stuff with morons because they think that “global warming” should impact everywhere on the planet equally, or we have no impact at all. Obviously the truth is that we do have some impact on the planet, but people focus on fossil fuels and the poles instead of things that will have a direct impact on us, like water.
BTW, we did less controlled burning on a national level in 2025, compared to prior years (under Biden). So no, it’s not because Colorado went woke.

You do have an obsession with Phoenix. The official temperature for Phoenix is measured at the airport in the center of an urban area with a significant heat island effect. Of course it is warmer in recent years as most of the vacant plots of land are being filled in and an airport is made up of lots of cement; it probably is the hottest place in the city.
You also are quoting data for average daily temperature, which is the average over 24 hours. One of the biggest impacts of a heat island is it raises night time temps, which is part of your average. Higher average temperature does not equal more water use.
I am concerned about the Colorado river but 70-80% of the water is used for agriculuture and ranching. Why? Growing water-intensive alfalfa in the desert in Calif makes no sense. And then those farmers export lots of it to China -- and those farmers don't even pay market rates for the water..... Only in America could we be so stupid.

She works for a top 100 US company and they push all of their employees to use and get more skilled using AI for everything. If you don't, you will be less valued.

I had the necessary frequent miles, so the round trip seat was purchased,
Saturday he arrived at LaGuardia about 7 AM. for non stop flight at 8 ish.
Delayed as # 30 to take off, 5 Hour delay. Landed at Cinn and no gate for disembark for almost 2 more hours. Shuttle bus had departed, found Uber $ 100 to be dropped at the final location.
Final time 14 hours from home to final hotel !
