I couldn't care less about your opinion. Proof of that being that you are now dead to me, lol. Dead and buried.
There ya go, you got it!

Just assume everybody is gone. Easier that way.The WHOLE bench? Are WE LOSING THE WHOLE BENCH? When did they declare?
Man. The world is coming to an end! NOOOOO!!!!!
*funny gif of world coming to an end*
What am I blindly following?
You’re genuinely making no sense at all.
I’m not sure what you’re upset about but maybe take a break ... just for a bit?
Cal is a hypocrite because he mentioned the possibility of positives to Knox returning?
So where is Cal in all this? Says it’s players first for years, then out of nowhere changes tune and tries to get Knox to stay. No big deal but doesn’t look too great on Cal to me.
There ya go, you got it!
I dont think Cal was really trying to get him to stay. Or at least, I don’t think Cal and his father were both wanting him to stay. If Dad and Coach are both saying it, then he probably listens and stays.
Point being: we are witnessing a system at Kentucky that doesn’t work as it presently stands, so “expecting them all to leave” every year basically is admitting defeat. Player retention is an absolute must going forward. I hope the staff is no longer afraid to embrace selling more than merely the fastest route toward the NBA.
You mean BLUE Devil, dontcha, Troll? And we don't care that you don't care. I think this makes Matt Jones look bad. And Tubby Smith. How 'bout them damn cheerleaders? Of course, none them played no part in this. Neither did Cal. The kid chose.Cal looks like a bit of a hypocrite to me in all this. Go ahead, tell me I am the devil for daring to question anything regarding Cal. I could care less.

The only hypocrite is you. You aren't a UK basketball fan. You are a YOU fan.
Clearly you are.I thought Cal always said if you are for sure first round you go. I could be wrong.
The new paradigm of experienced shooters winning does not lend itself to OAD. Adapt and change or get buried. Most realistic people believe we will always have a talented but inexperienced team under Cal. They will get better throughout the season but won’t win a title. Then start over from scratch the next year.I'm really not even sure why this is a controversial take. And Cal may be course correcting, but we won't know until we either see the same level of roster turnover or more conventional teams being built.
People keep saying "surprised." Like surprise is even relevant here. No one should be "surprised," but it is disappointing. Especially in light of the talk about his return. People keep wondering why attendance is down and why after 30-40-50 years as a fan people find themselves less interested than ever. It's pretty ******* obvious to me why interest is waning.
Clearly...players first doesn’t always mean go pro. Not hard to understand.Sorry you’re mad. I’m not.
yep, long athletic guys that the NBA covets are not as impactful in today's CBB.The new paradigm of experienced shooters winning does not lend itself to OAD. Adapt and change or get buried. Terrence Jones says hi other than that you’re correct. It’s not just Kentucky I’m shocked when any projected lottery pick returns no matter what school they attendDon’t ever assume that a guy with a lottery projection is coming back. It’s never happened, not even once, in the 9 years that Cal has been here. And it’s not going to. It goes against his entire recruiting pitch. He can’t tell these kids that Kentucky gives them the greatest chance at being OAD, and then turn around and ask them to stay when they’re projected to go lottery.
Cal looks like a bit of a hypocrite to me in all this. Go ahead, tell me I am the devil for daring to question anything regarding Cal. I could care less.
Meanwhile, 7 of the 9 teams that have won a title in the OAD Cal Era at UK have done so with overwhelmingly veteran teams. The two OAD teams (Duke, Kentucky) had multiple upperclassmen who acted as key contributors.

None of that is what he said. At all.
The devil? Don’t be so emotional man.
I’m just not sure how he looks like a “hypocrite?”
It’s been said he tried to get him to maybe consider staying? That’s awesome... but Knox seems to want to take Multiple millions of $$ instead.
What is Cal supposed to do? Not try and get anyone to stay in case they end up deciding to leave anyways?
You’re not making any sense .
How much less could* you care?![]()

Once again, anyone who didn’t think Knox and Shai were gone were livIng in a fantasy world. Diallo checking out doesn’t hurt the team in my opinion. If everyone else returns, this team is going to be outstanding.
We haven’t seen the last of the exits. Shai is leaving and I bet Diallo does too.I wouldn't say fantasy world.
Name another top 15 pick and top 10 recruit that Cal openly recruited to return and the parents were making the case to do so?
Without putting much thought into it no one is coming to mind.
Cal talking about recruiting guys who can shoot and openly recruiting Knox to return tells me what I need to know. I feel like I've followed the guy for a long time , imo he's throwing us some hope because he probably knew this was coming.
I don't think for a second we've seen the last of the exits and we should as fans be concerned. We can like Knox and wish him well while not forgetting the program all together. This is why so many hate this system.
who else do you think leaves?I wouldn't say fantasy world.

So the reason attendance is down across all sports across the country is because a kid who is a lottery pick decided to go to the NBA?
Get a grip. Listen to yourself. You can be disappointed without raving like a lunatic.
