Because you can’t
I did already from the article you linked.

In short, the historical Atlantic hurricane frequency record does not provide compelling evidence for a substantial greenhouse warming-induced long-term increase

Everything I’ve posted is relevant to my discussion with Dave and Shirley about climate change increasing the frequency and intensity off hurricanes and cyclones. No?

And this discussion points to a lower frequency of extratropical cyclones (otherwise known as upper level lower pressure systems).

It has nothing to do with hurricanes.

How ignorant can some people be. I guess they are clueless about Hurricane Science.

From the idiot Beyoncé: "The effects of climate change are playing out around the world every day," she stated. "Just this past week we have seen an 8.1 earthquake in Mexico ".

From Matt Lauer: "Hurricane Irma was the most powerful Atlantic storm ever recorded, cutting a path of destruction across the Caribbean, the U.S. Virgin Islands and then setting its sights on the U.S. mainland."
BUT.......Hurricane Irma is actually tied for the 7th strongest hurricane ever recorded.

Actually the strength and frequency of hurricanes will be impacted by climate change

When is that going to happen? It was supposed to happen over a decade ago.

Hurricanes, tropical storms, and cyclones have increased in frequency.

Not thus far. They have gone down as temps have been reported higher

The intensity of a hurricane isn’t impacted by the temperature of the ocean water over which it travels?

I wonder if you guys even know the information the figure is depicting?

Ive been told that the oceans are warming and that in the not too distant future the caused melting of the ice caps will swallow up coastlines and islands. I am also told that warming oceans cause more hurricanes by number and intensity yet the factual storm data does not back up that assumption. In a case like that science says look deeper.

Not the discussion I’m having. The thread began with the discussion of the impact on hurricanes. Your post of this article was the n reply to my chart on hurricane intensity and frequency increasing, was it not?

Which is a result of less temperature variance in our atmosphere, no?

Doesn’t state the opposite, genius balls

Seriously. How many times must I repeat myself before you figure it out?
Dave, maybe you are very intelligent in some subject areas, like schoolgirl putdowns and following like a limp dick wanna be badass....but on the subject of climate change and its effects on the world you’re as fvcking dumb as Beyoncé

I dont know how intelligent I am compared to many but I am intelligent enough to know that intelligence doesnt depend on the subject matter. I am definitely intelligent enough to see your obvious logical faults on the subject. I think you can see where this is going so call me names so at a minimum Bru will have something to like.

If you’re talking about extratropical cyclones declining and what that data indicates about global surface and ocean temperatures, sure I’m not very well read in that specific area. If you’re talking about the subject of climate change causing more frequent and more intense hurricanes and typhoons, my logic is pretty well backed by fact. And if you’re talking about the general evidence of climate change and its impacts, I’m pretty well read and feel very confident about my knowledge....esp when compared to you.

Now maybe you have a specific post of mine that you feel reveals a lack of logic or knowledge on the issue to which you are referencing? Probably not. Just generalities and teenaged sassy talk I’m sure. Otherwise, I’d turn you out, and I’m sure you only like bending over to take it in private.

You have no idea what my knowledge is to compare. I know that the facts dont back up the logic of this thread.

What threat? I think Dave is a closet homosexual, and I shame him for being ashamed of who he really is.....gay men should be proud
Just because you dream of my cock unloading down your throat doesnt make me a closet homo

Hurricanes are nature's way of getting heat out of the tropics, both air and water. Most of the increases in temperature have been in the polar regions, not the tropics. Little or no impact should be expected to hurricane intensity or frequency, yet here we are.

Hurricanes gain intensity by traveling over warm water currents.

Beyond our solar system, God made a huge large plastic greenscreen that He projects things changing in the universe, just to mess with us.

Water temps haven't changed significantly for 150 years.

JFC sometimes Dave you seriously are like a fvcking 15 yr old girl
So now you want to bang 15 yo girls. Its starting to come together.

Your logic doesnt add up based on the facts presented in this thread.
