Found this regarding GYERO's favorite Louisville high school.

41 runs? [laughing] I saw a game in high school that was 27-0 after 2 innings and the home team bunted back to the pitcher in the bottom of the 3rd to get the game over with. Guess KCD wasn't having that.

In New Zealand it is spelled Wynard, which loosely translates to, "Stud flower who will blossom on the court in 3-4 years."

The Americanized WynYard, can be broken down into the Latin words "Win" and "Yard" which can be translated to "Don't lose" and "Lawn/Shrub." Which refers to the fact that even if this kid never plays a minute he is going to rake in mass amounts of high quality poon. Or in other words, he will win bush.

DrX is way too proud that Ramsey went after him on Twitter. He does that to everyone, bub, sorry to burst your bubble...

That's what makes him who he is.

Advantages over Dropbox? In English, please.
Dropbox is $10/month for 1TB.
Backblaze is $5/month for one computer and every drive that is hooked up to it (unlimited).

It's more of a pure backup solution that you can use like Dropbox in a pinch. And if you really need all of your data back fast, you can pay to have a cloned hard drive shipped overnight.

And if you try to go it alone, remember: "RAID is a not a backup," lol.

How terrible must the pitcher be who gave up 3 runs for KCD?

Burger King has added a new twist to their Angriest Burger. A red bun with hot sauced baked in for a little extra kick. The Angriest Burger is a flame-grilled beef patty topped with bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, crispy onions, jalapenos, mayonnaise and "spicy angry sauce."

Not sure why I would be proud that some weirdo tweeted me. Probably rank that below finding a 12 inch *****, tbh.

Can't wait to see Taj Winwood's improvement next year. The dulcet tones of a New Zealand lumberjack battling down low, with violence. We'll be back in the high life again, that's for sure.

Roy WiIlliams is absolute slime, and yet CBS will spend at least one more full-game broadcast fellating him before this tournament is over. Here's a look back at Roy Williams' first NCAA title:

2005 NCAA title team:
Jackie Manuel - AFAM degree
Sean May - AFAM degree
David Noel - AFAM degree
Melvin Scott - AFAM degree
Reyshawn Terry - AFAM degree
Quentin Thomas - AFAM degree
Jawad Williams - AFAM degree
Marvin Williams - No degree
Raymond Felton - No degree
Rashad McCants - No degree

It's entirely reasonable to say that not a single one of those players should have been academically eligible. Regardless of what rules the players and teams should or shouldn't be subject to, the rules are there and most other teams have to play by them.

Retroactively vacating the 2005 and 2009 titles would be a nice gesture, but wouldn't really undo the damage. However, the least the NCAA could do is to prevent that slick bastard and his functionally illiterate student-athletes from continuing to benefit from fraud.*

Doss used to trot kids out of detention to play tennis matches back in the 90's.

It was über-depressing to play against them.

CBS is going away from the Luther Vandross version of OSM again. It's like they're going out of their way to ruin the best event in sports.

Speaking of Doss, how did they reach the S16 title game? Is there that many ballers in my hood? Surely they aren't cool enough to recruit to that dump...

JMO, but Dean Smith is way more to blame for the scandal than Roy. Dean started it. Roy came into it.

On the latest Matt Jones podcast he had a guy that covers UNC, Duke, and NC St on and he seems to think mens basketball wont get hit that hard and that it was more a womens basketball and football thing and those are the sports that will get the most sanctions, lol. Of course you know that is exactly what is going to happen, NCAA really is unbelievable.

Dinner recs for downtown (not a necessity) Louisville. $$ or $$$ on a scale of $ - $$$$. TIA.

$$$$

Rivue (rotating restaurant atop Galt House, best view in town)
Ruby's
Brendan's Catch23
Vincenzo's
Buck's (least expensive of this category, and a GREAT date spot, maybe best in town) Not much more expensive than N9ne)
Rye
Harvest
Decca
Butchertown Grocery (newest hotspot, haven't been. You can get $$$ here if no steak. Speakeasy Bar on top floor)

$$$

Marketplace is always a winner ( especially in warmer weather. Grand space) This one is borderline $$$, depending on order. $$$$ if steak or whatever, of course, but plenty of other options.

Amici
Mayan Cafe
Milkwood (burger is ridic)
Over the 9
Down One Bourbon Bar
Garage Bar
Doc Crow's
Bristol
BirraCibo (new Junior Bridgeman ARTISAN pizza/italian on 4th St)

$$

Mussel Burger Bar
SideBar,
Royal's Hot Chicken
Manny & Merle
Wild Rita's
Feast

#1 rec knowing you though would have to be Old Spaghetti Factory.

Damn, kind of torn. Two good shows in Louisville on the same night in June.

Awolnation at the Mercury.
Brit Floyd at the Palace.

Both are excellent live.

Roy knew exactly what was going on. Several Kansas recruits were able to finally obtain the needed test scores in Chapel Hill instead of their hometowns.

Louisville Public Schools, I'm sure kel and bucket can expand, don't go by just neighborhood.

True, but generally most kids go to their "resides" school, which is the one closest to them. You essentially have a cluster of schools, and can pick from them. I'd venture to say though that most of the Doss student population comes from Doss.

Always happy for a school like Doss to sneak up and have a great year. Success tends to be fleeting though. In 2009, the Iroquois HS girls won the state title. This season, they forfeited the second half of the season, because they didn't have enough players to field a team.

*Coming from a small town, with two schools, it kind of blows my mind the amount of high schools in Louisville. And, yes, I know the river city is small compared to *insert major city here* but still...my mother is from there and there are still schools like Doss that pop up on the radar from time to time because of a recruit or a random good sports run that I just didn't know even existed.

*Briscoe would be nice to have back. He would take over this team personality wise, and that's a good thing. His shooting will drastically improve...one, because it has to and, two, because I think he'll work his *** off in the offseason.

*After thinking about it, and looking at the roster. I think I'm siding more and more with Bbdk on "yes, we will obviously take a #1 man child center but, meh, if we don't get him". If we miss out and the numbers work, find me a sniper. I expect a good jump out of Humphries, a year in the weight room and in the system to figure out what the touch he is doing...we basically have 5 to 6 serviceable guys already to man the 4/5.

*The Wynyard offer was Cal's strangest recruiting moment. That's okay, he bats a pretty good percentage.
