Found this regarding GYERO's favorite Louisville high school.

In New Zealand it is spelled Wynard, which loosely translates to, "Stud flower who will blossom on the court in 3-4 years."
The Americanized WynYard, can be broken down into the Latin words "Win" and "Yard" which can be translated to "Don't lose" and "Lawn/Shrub." Burger King has added a new twist to their Angriest Burger. A red bun with hot sauced baked in for a little extra kick. The Angriest Burger is a flame-grilled beef patty topped with bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, crispy onions, jalapenos, mayonnaise and "spicy angry sauce."

It's entirely reasonable to say that not a single one of those players should have been academically eligible. Regardless of what rules the players and teams should or shouldn't be subject to, the rules are there and most other teams have to play by them.
Retroactively vacating the 2005 and 2009 titles would be a nice gesture, but wouldn't really undo the damage. However, the least the NCAA could do is to prevent that slick bastard and his functionally illiterate student-athletes from continuing to benefit from fraud.*

On the latest Matt Jones podcast he had a guy that covers UNC, Duke, and NC St on and he seems to think mens basketball wont get hit that hard and that it was more a womens basketball and football thing and those are the sports that will get the most sanctions, lol. Roy had his own brand of cheating set up at KU. He was certainly aware of the system at UNC. He brought his own guy Wayne Wynard to help improve the cheating.

True, but generally most kids go to their "resides" school, which is the one closest to them. You essentially have a cluster of schools, and can pick from them. I'd venture to say though that most of the Doss student population comes from Doss.
Always happy for a school like Doss to sneak up and have a great year. Success tends to be fleeting though. In 2009, the Iroquois HS girls won the state title. This season, they forfeited the second half of the season, because they didn't have enough players to field a team.
*Coming from a small town, with two schools, it kind of blows my mind the amount of high schools in Louisville. And, yes, I know the river city is small compared to *insert major city here* but still...my mother is from there and there are still schools like Doss that pop up on the radar from time to time because of a recruit or a random good sports run that I just didn't know even existed.
*Briscoe would be nice to have back. He would take over this team personality wise, and that's a good thing. His shooting will drastically improve...one, because it has to and, two, because I think he'll work his *** off in the offseason.
*After thinking about it, and looking at the roster. I think I'm siding more and more with Bbdk on "yes, we will obviously take a #1 man child center but, meh, if we don't get him". If we miss out and the numbers work, find me a sniper. I expect a good jump out of Humphries, a year in the weight room and in the system to figure out what the touch he is doing...we basically have 5 to 6 serviceable guys already to man the 4/5.
