Wednesday:
- Kyle Tucker is doing yeoman's work at the McD AA Game this week. Good piece on the ****** 2012 high school basketball class.
- Speaking of, been interesting to discover that Calipari's freshman-based gamble depends so much on the quality of the overall freshman class. Makes sense, of course. When the freshman class sucks, bet big on experienced teams.
- Still can't get over Booker and Ulis being lottery picks.
- Seems the narrative is that the cavernous arena will help UNC, whose offense relies less on the 3, BUT...
a) UNC hasn't been UNC without Paige being electric from the perimeter. That's how they've become so good of late. Without Paige being a stud, they're just a good not great team.
b) Does the arena fortify Syracuse's zone?
- Anyway, that ********* in Houston illustrates one more turn of bad luck for UK basketball in the NCAA Tourney under Cal- getting into a rock fight in that place after tearing up the nets against UNC.
- I don't care what anyone says- UConn's monopoly on women's basketball is dumb, boring and in no way good for the sport.
- I like me some Thad Matta, but it might be time for a change of scenery. He's kind of losing it up there.

Tried out BurgerFi last night by Fayette Mall. Pretty solid burger, but the onion rings were not that good.
They had two different UK games on TVs- UK-UConn Title game from 2014 and UK-Wisky Final Four 2015. W. In The. F. [sick]

Manager should be fired.
* Maybe Matta can come back to Xavier when Mack takes the UL job after Pitino is fired in a couple of weeks.
* Made some Moscow Mules the other day and had to substitute Vanilla Vodka for regular. It actually turned out pretty good.
* Touch Syracuse and UNC.
* Matthews=Stacy Poole this year.
Next year he makes the leap to senior year Ramon Harris.
BTW, apparently there is a porn star also named Stacy Poole in case you google his name to make you spell it correctly to keep CoolCat from getting disgruntled.
* All in on FC Cincinnati. Making a :30 video to be played on their scoreboard right now. MLS talent on a USL team. Louisville City doesn't have a chance.
* A pair of Mallard Ducks has decided to build a nest in the flower bed separating our yard from the neighbors. And yes, they have discovered the little 50 gallon pond.
Apparently all species of water fowl are ********. Kind of like goats with feathers instead of horns.
I have a feeling that the neighbor's german shepherd will scare them away fairly quickly, though. Tazer is a sweetie, but I'm not sure ducks will feel the same way.
* Humphries will contribute to some degree this year. How much is up to him. Work hard this summer, mate. Less piano and more Mikan drills.
* Lee will do Lee things. And if that is bringing dunks, shot blocking and energy off the bench in short spurts then that is a very good thing for the Wildcats of Lexington.
* I can already tell that I'm gonna like my team.

They weren't gravy, either, so move along Deep Dish.
Wildcat Willy, dumbass. Learn to spell.
- Not a big Moscow Mule guy. I do like a Kentucky Mule as a refreshing summer bourbon drink, tho.
- Syracuse isn't even on my radar as a hate-worthy team. I'll be rooting for them like they're the Unforgettables on Saturday. Some of you need to get your priorities in order. I know @Century Cat feels me.

You never went to college with Pat Brady, the current Police Chief of White House, TN. and Syracuse native and honk.
But yeah, I will be holding my nose and rooting for them vs UNC. I realize that another Heel title would suck worse than Brady lighting me up on Facebook.
Luckily, I have him on record 3x in the past 5 years talking about how a Final Four doesn't mean ****, only titles.
Willy referring to BBdK as Deep Dish gets me every single time.

This is the first title game that won't be excruciating to watch in like 7 years (not including 2012, even though that was stressing).
2010: Duke steals it
2011: UK was a game away
2012: pretty cool
2013: Louisville winning it
2014: UK losing to a lesser team
2015: duke steals another one
2016: I mean whatever. I don't want Carolina to win it but I'm not going to be angry. And if anyone else wins it I won't care at all. Just glad it's not Indiana or Louisville tbh

I get rooting for them against UNC on the grand scale but Syracuse should definitely be on your hate radar. Get real.
Lots to hate:
Boeheim
Awful city
Awful people
Ugly women
Cheaters
Culture that thought they were above said cheating and played victim card
Assistant coach was a molester
Stupid *** zone
Underachievers
Eric Devendorf
Broadcast and digital journalism school (severely underrated reason) sending out hordes of whiny ***, entitled douchebags
K.

They may make my Top 15-20. I have so much hatred for Louisville, Indiana, UNC, Duke, Kansas and UCLA that it's just hard to muster up any for a program that has no real negative connection to UK. UConn, I get. They've kept us from two additional titles, knocked us out of three tournaments. But Syracuse? I'd prefer Oklahoma or Villanova, but it's not going to bother me if they win. I'll take anyone but UNC at this point and be giddy.
One time when I was in law school, I saw two ducks attempting what appeared to be a gang rape of another duck. Never looked at those quacking bastards the same way again.
Will say this for Syracuse...the Derrick Coleman-Billy Owen Era unis were :100points:.
Remember when we played Syracuse in the 2012 Final 4?
Do you think Bullet was part of the shenanigans at Minardi? Good ol Eastern KY boy getting dragged into that nonsense.
-That "hike pass" from Sherman Douglas to Stevie Thompson in 1988 is one of my top 10 all-time CBB plays. Just beautiful.
-Was positive that Billy Owens and Marcus Liberty were going to be the next wave of hoops superstars, following Jordan. Oops.
-Once Shake Shack opens, about half of these gourmet burger joints will be strug-ga-ling. Five Guys should survive. The others? Not so sure.

Syracuse's uniforms are ugly as ****, and Jim Boeheim is a *** gobbling penis wagon. I will be rooting for them to beat UNC, but I'll be rooting for them to get salmonella prior to tip on Monday.
If you don't care whether Syracuse wins over Villanova or Oklahoma, I question you as a basketball fan. I question your critical thinking skills. I question you as a person.

It's pretty simple, gang.
Anybody other than Carolina this weekend. I don't give a **** if Syracuse wins both games by an average margin of 30 and Pete Thamel gives Boeheim a hand job at mid court while hoisting the trophy.
Do not want Carolina winning another title getting them to 6.

Yeah, not sure what's so hard about this. #:basketball:
Can you imagine Pete Thamel prancing out onto the court during the trophy presentation and lubing boheim up while he talks to nantz? Nantz is like hey whoa what's happening here and boheim is all dismissive meanwhile Thamel is just tugging away like he's trying to start a push mower. Then he finishes and nantz is like "the big orange is officially a big o" or something punny. Idk you guys can delete this message if you want
