Posted a 20 second clip of our grand finale on Facebook. I know it last a full minute and a half at least. Long enough as the 4 guys lighting walked back to the tent we had fireworks under, grabbed another beer out of the cooler, gave high fives and still watched for 30 seconds or so.

If someone sends me a longer clip I’d gladly post it to.

Fireworks are fun to me, no shame!

Edit: How do you post a video?

GYERO has established itself as being above most American institutions.

First they came for ketchup and I said nothing, because I was not ketchup.
Then they came for the fireworks and I said nothing, because I was not fireworks.
Then they came for the ______________ (barbecue? football? rock-n-roll?) and there was no one left to speak for it.

I've never been so glad to come back to work for a day. 4 straight hard days of drinking is too much anymore.

Sat took the boat out on the river. Went with 8 other boats, all tied up. 80+ boats all tied up in the party cove. Beer, booze, grills going, stereos, titties all over the place. Got out there about noon got back to the dock about 12:30. Just a **** show.

I’m sure a few butts puckered in OKC too after Chet fell on a twisted ankle. Credit him for toughening it out though.

I’ll say this much I’ve been surprised at quite a few of these college kids, and I’m starting to think Cal isn’t the only one with a tight grip at the college level.

You can’t drive in college basketball because defenders flop and you pick up charge fouls.

Anth was legitimately bitching about it being too cold in Vegas bc It was 98-103. Was bizarro world.

Kept saying 110 is the minimum perfect Vegas temp, and it needed to be 10 degrees warmer to be optimal & comfortable…and he was 100% serious.

I found that highly concerning, and just hope there isn’t a more serious underlying issue there.

Feel like we had less mortar fire storming the beaches at Normandy than that fireworks show.

Hot damn.

That’s not really what I mean as I watch Keegan Murray, Chet Holmgren and the like playing a totally different game than they did in college.

In no way did I think Chet would be a bust, but the kid was out there running like a guard last pulling up on the break off the dribble. It was clear he could shoot, but leading the break and finishing on a pull-up was a surprise to me. Granted it’s hard for a 7’4 stiff like Fall to guard that too so he’ll see more of a challenge over the course of a season.

That said, I’m also looking for Banchero to open up his game too as all the elite players are doing and his first game is tonight. I know after one easy game it’s fun to say Orlando going to regret it, but we haven’t seen Banchero yet, and OKC summer team is f’ing nice! That Giddey kid is a talent, and Ousmane Dieng looks like a player too.

I also like the Grizzlies Summer team too and they play OKC tonight which should make for great background noise while I’m in the pool.

Yet he can't sleep if the thermostat isn't set below 68 degrees 🤷

I'm only casually observing through KSR and Kyle Tucker's Twitter but this is what UK's NIL situation feels like recently.

110 is the optimal pool time temp. As your gf begrudgingly acknowledged after thinking I was insane.

I hope you all melt. Btw, after today weather looks fantastic.

having a pool does make beating the heat a lot more fun.

Plumber came to finish the slide today and he originally placed the flex pipe about 2 feet off.

So we are having to cut concrete to make things right.

Not going to lie though, once that bad boy is up, I will flat out enjoy it.

We’re in Leadville until Labor Day, and there is no air conditioning here. Don’t need it. Mornings are 40ish and mid day is 60-70. Sunny the majority of the time. This is the exact break we need from the oppressive summer heat of the Dirty Dirty.
