Chet didn’t look so hot tonight against the Grizz. Not sure why we didn’t play our 3 rookies, but Kenny Lofton Jr just bodied Chet anytime he wanted.

Banchero plays at 10pm. We’ll see if I make it that long tonight.

Saw Vern comment on this on FB so I brought it over. How is Steph not 100%? Ridiculous.

Grizzlies guard John Koncher is proof that if you can play ball at all you should chase the dream no matter what.

3 years, 19M to clock 18 minutes game.

I would like to see how a relegation system would work if we got to 2 superconferences.

Promote every year, 2 years(my choice), etc.? Less money for those in the lower division?

Not to try and continue shitting on wherever the rest of you live, but for the WORLD GAMES Opening and Closing ceremonies, Birmingham will have musical appearances by:

Nelly
Sara Evans
Sheila E.
Tony! Toni! Tone!
Yolanda Adams
Bootsy Collins
Alabama
Bo Bice
Ruben Studdard
Taylor Hicks

and... a little artist from Tuskeegee, AL by the name of Lionel Richie- ever heard of him?

Sorry all of your summers are second-tier at best and you couldnt even pull off Railbird again

GYERO Music Challenge:

If anyone can do this for even 60 seconds, with no hiccups, I’ll Venmo $100

I’ll send $50 for 30 seconds.

Asked Bonzo awhile back, he agreed It’s impossible. You need a split brain, which I assume some drummers have…

Rudd, Wyvern, Chester…? Lurkers?

Pen drum, quarter in the knuckles for the knock, + fist bass.

Never mind spitfire rapping for 10 minutes & changing cadence constantly

Just try and hold the beat & knock. It’s legit impossible.

Suga Free a 🐐

Challenge is open for a week. Give it a shot.

Surely someone can get it done with all the musical savants in here…but probably not.

-that's awesome. Bonz could do it NP. I'd have to practice a ton....not sure if I could keep it going.

Bonz couldn’t, actually.

He tried.

Supreme talent there, despite the obnoxious “ghetto”.

Especially when you consider he’s rapping, pausing, interacting with the crew, and picking up without ever missing a single beat.

#SugaFreeThePimp

Shout to DJ Quik. 🐐

Challenge open. Bring it music balls. Free Money!! I’d love to see it.

* Back to Benny Hill, that is on the list of late-night shows that will always be a staple of mine as a kid.

Others:

- Saturday Night's Main Event (whenever it was aired)
- Tales From the Darkside (still the scariest theme song to me)
- WTBS Night Tracks (I bet I had a dozen VHS tapes recording those all night on a weekend)
- "Skinemax" I remember getting the HBO/Cinemax schedule guides in the mail and going to straight to the late-night Friday and Saturday lineups.

"Hell yes, a "Real Sex" on HBO at 11:00, and then a new "Emmanuelle" on Cinemax at 12:00!"

* Added to bucket list: drive the whole Pacific Coast Highway.

* If I'm picking a soundtrack to listen to on that trip, I'd be fine with the songs on the first 90 minutes of "Goodfellas."

Just music that I'd love to drive with the Pacific winking at me to the right of the venture (we are going North to South). It ends at Del-Mar race track.

* Elementary school packed lunch:

- Kahn's bologna sandwich (with smashed up Grippo's BBQ chips on it)
- Andy Capp's fries
- Fudge Round
- Can of Mountain Dew

My friends were always in awe; not sure why they never replicated if they were so enamored.

* Christ, Netflix's new true crime doc, "Girl in the Picture" is one of the twisted, evil, sick, and heartbreaking ones I've ever seen. Must see.

* Go-to sleep medications:

- Cabin Alone in the Alaskan Wilderness - Dick Proenneke on repeat. That was guy was the ultimate man.
- The Bob Ross playlist. Instant relaxation.

* Found an old Mike Warren and Jimmy the Greek's Basketball Forecast magazine from 1990.

According to their gambling formula, UK was at the same "Team Strength" (31) as Drake, Fairleigh-Dickinson, Hawaii, Illinois State, Northeastern, Rice, and Tennessee-Chattanooga.

Dark times, my Wildcat friends.

* As a member of Team Summer Weather guy, I can fully say I am ready to fast forward to three months and get me some Keeneland and Cats football in my life.

It seems to always be the Monday after first weekend of that track that the weather drastically changes.

* Ray Charles - "You Don't Know Me." <---perfection.

Houston had a hell of a draft with Smith, Eason and Washington. All 3 are going to be excellent players and while they’ll still lose a ton at least they’ll be fun to watch. I’m already hating Porter Jr, but they won’t be able to keep TyTy off the floor anyway.

It’s safe to say, Orlando will be having no regrets taking Banchero. Even against a “loaded” Summer League team Banchero is clearly the best player on the court. His block on Smith at the rim was exactly the type of play that separates him from just being only a dominant offensive guy.

Had no clue at all Adrimal Schofield was on any kind of roster.
