Since Deener slammed a woman's head into a car I've been listening to Kentucky Roll Call a bit. That's a pretty God awful radio show, man. Roush, Teej Walker, and whomever else is on there. It's like eavesdropping on a table of late 20 something UK fans at Tin Roof or something. Annoying, half-assed, "level headed" takes that will irk the **** out of you.

Anyway, it sucks.

I assume T.J. Walker is likely a nice guy, but that guy sucked as an analyst/recruiting guru here.

Although phenomenal, the neighbor being 75 took a little shine off the story. I envisioned a 47 year old Asian-American with a 1 year old, wearing a lulu lemon tshirt and on cloud shoes.

Ibuprofen long term will cause an ulcer, you can either half your ibuprofen and add Tylenol or go homeopathic with tumeric, creams, or CBD. Any other anti-inflammatory will have more negative systemic effects than ibuprofen. Also recommend a good PT to strengthen stabilizer muscles.

Rudd, if the same spots in your back/knees/whatever are giving you trouble and it’s not just generalized after-workout soreness, see a physiotherapist, especially one who does dry needling. I can ask my guy if he knows anyone down your way. Needling keeps me moving and has been a godsend for controlling my migraines. In a pinch, voltaren gel can help (diclofenac something something, used to be prescription but is now OTC). You’ll smell like the old folks home but probably feel better.

So, he was more upset (complete renovation) we had a dumpster close to the sidewalk. But he knocks on the door while I'm holding a screaming 2 year old, so I'm already annoyed. I ask him to come around back so I can sit G down and talk. He explained he was riding his bike, because of the blocked driveway and nearby dumpster, he fell off his bike causing damage. I thought he was halfway joking at this point. Then he's like, "well I put together an invoice for the repairs and other costs" and he hands it to me. It's a hand written invoice:

Bike Repair: $21.00
Tip: $20.00
Time: $100.00
Rudeness: $200.00 (from what I gathered this was a result of his conversation with 80)
Total: $341.00

At this point I'm in disbelief. Can't recall exactly what I said. But started with pointing out painted on the road, literally in front of where he fell, was a little man on a bike. Which means that's a bike lane and he had no business on the sidewalk. I told him he was a piece of **** neighbor and I'd be showing this to everyone around us so we could laugh at him. That rolled into telling him to GTFO. He was shocked. Let him know I had cameras on both properties(true) so if he tried any funny business it was recorded. He quietly left.

Weird convo.

Man Sunday night dinner must have been awkward that week.

I have a dry needling guy if you need it, Rudd.

- @rudd1 if you're looking non-medication, lots of osteo biflex, fish oil and glutamine. MCT oil in your coffee. Also Incrediwear helps with knee pain.

- Been saying for years that it's radio malpractice only offering one UK-centric show in this city/state. Gotta feel the time is right for a gyero podcast. A few could host, have guests with expertise on anything from fly fishing to powerlifting, best restaurant's around the state to gambol. And with the connections folks have, doubt it'd be long before a tit-for-tat with the Palumbos unfolded.

- Not sure if it's the fact the Nats are a glorified AAA team or baseball started during Masters week, but baseball season started with a whimper. Feels like little fanfare around the sport, but could be the bi-product of following a ****** team.

- Only took two days to recover from that 13 hour Extrav bender 🥴 . Progress has to be attributed to multiple sauna sweat sessions. Thing is a rehab game changer.

- Been on an Iron Maiden kick recently. Incredible musicians. The 'Live After Death' album is a tour de force prog metal masterpiece. 'Phantom of the Opera' ftw.

- Having said that, looking forward to Sir Elton Saturday.

His Rupp show led to the an Extrav discussion on who was your biggest live show miss? Believe Prince's 2015 Derby weekend performances were the overwhelming winner.

- For you financially astute folks, looks like there's going to be some more jerking around on your retirement accounts. Net/net, RMD age slowly increased. Contribution levels increase. Fed gets money sooner by forcing catch-ups/future contributions into Roth's, realizing taxes today, ending pre-tax deductions.

NY Lt. Gov arrested....lol.

Keep electing liberals.....keep wallowing in pig ****.

But hey....we can bring back masks!

Played 4 pickup games last night at my church's weekly game. I have known for sometime how much my skills have diminished due to age. That's a given. But I can still SCORE THE BASKETBALL. However, I need all of the ibuprofen, Excedrin, Lortabs, etc. I feel Mankind after he got thrown off the top of cage by the Undertaker.

Didn't piss myself, but I'm not ruling out the possibility of doing so.

Shorts:

-Awesome weekend in Lex. Hit about 10 bars Friday night (the last being, Cowboys - eek), Spring Game + Extrav Saturday was perfect. Good to see everyone again.

-Literally brushed shoulders with UKO's ***** *** at Harry's Sunday evening as he was walking out through the hall by the bathrooms. Thankfully, he didn't see me.

-Dropped my taxes off this morning. Dreading that phone call.

-KSBar having a Drag Brunch in a few weeks? That's an interesting choice, Mags.

-This Spring, thus far, seems abnormally bad weather - getting kinda annoying.

-Oscar coming back...man, what a boost that would be.

-Umm, those D9 Gummies are legit. Not sure why I didn't trust Wynn, as he seems pretty reliable when it comes to vice recs, but I guess I was expecting some slight CBD stuff? Dunno, but Was pretty shocked, tbh. Right to the mailbox...pretty damn dope.

-Vegas 4th of July Weekend booked.

-Haven't gotten the golf bug even a little bit yet...kinda concerning. Again, this weather doesn't help.

-🙁 at this Subway Shooting. Crazy world

-Time for a Kendrick album.

Glad he's just testing the waters that way he can come back if he doesn't get a lottery guarantee.

I realized I was old when I started taking Ibuprofen pre-emptively before playing sports.

The best I've ever felt was the month I had a hot yoga membership. Did not pee my pants.

"I need to do that again." - Me, every month since (been 6 years).

I only need about a third of one of those D9 gummies.

I don't understand the Sharpe charade. I guess he just came to UK as a backup plan, because his NBA eligibility was in a gray area? But now that he's testing the waters, I'm assuming he's eligible, so why continue the charade? Everyone has known he's gone since the day he announced he was enrolling at UK early. Cal just trying to avoid BJWs storming Rupp in buffalo headdresses?

Cal getting played like a fiddle by this Canadian kid makes me almost as angry as the loss to St. Peter's.

He better not post anything on social media when the kid ultimately stays in the draft. He should just pretend it hasn't happened, just like he pretended that he didn't have an elite bucket-getter rotting on the bench while we struggled to score over the past three weeks of the season, all because the kid's handlers didn't want him to get exposed, and instead just wanted to fleece Cal for the practice reps, facilities, and gear.

(I reserve the right to delete this if the unthinkable happens and the kid pulls out of the draft. Which won't happen.)

Oh, I did...figured I needed to take a piss instead of saying hello.

I still would've bought you a drink, regardless.

Shaedon Sharpe sits down to pee, wears shirts with really long sleeves and thumbholes, prefers high waisted shorts, makes the first move on Bumble, struggles with incontinence during high episodes of physical exertion, drives an old 2-door Mitsubishi Eclipse, uses "they" pronouns, has a celebrity spirit animal, supports normalizing public breastfeeding, routinely misses their friends faces, and comments "yasss, queen!" on a regular basis.

What a *****.

Honestly I can’t blame Sharpe. I don’t agree with the decision but if some GM is going to draft a kid that goes to college but refuses to play to save his draft status, then it’s the NBA’s fault.

It’s a stupid f’ing precedent to set, but they’re about to do it.

Makes me wonder why a kid like DJ Wagner would bother playing his SR year in High School let alone one year in college.

Horrible.

I railed on him for months on HOB. Dude was stealing.

Maybe our worst "insider".

"I 'feel' that Cal really wants to lock him down" or... " I think the staff wants to wait it out before offering" .

FOH with these opinions, kiddo.

I do. He could've sat out a year anywhere. LA, Miami, SD, Vegas and instead he came here, went through pregame and cut up on the bench. **** off.

Want to be super pissed -- just imagine Cal's tweet next year congratulating Sharpe on some ******** NBA accomplishment like making the All-Rookie Team or whatever.

Looking at that kid's stupid moptop sitting on the bench while Wheeler and Washington were hurt was insufferable. We all grinned and bore it because at the time our squad looked like a contender. Had we known about St. Peters, Cal would have deservedly caught much more flack from BJW.

I wonder if Cal even knows or cares about how much that farce pisses off the BBN. I'm still redassed about that fat turd claiming the 2010 draft was the greatest day in UK basketball history and I am not alone.

The whole thing is bizarre. As I’ve brought up a few times, he could’ve been living like a pro this entire time in whatever bigtime city he wanted, working with elite trainers and preparing for the draft.

Instead he’s going to school and living through Lexington winter following nonsensical NCAA rules which cap practice hours.

The whole charade confuses me and I haven’t read an intelligent rationale yet. It’s not NIL money. His agent would be hooking him up and getting him deals. This dude is a prototype at NBA’s most premium position right now - a wing who can score at all three stages.

Cak should have told him, “you can come early but if you’re on the team and we need you, we’re playing you.”

Anywhere, the ridiculous situation is the only thing that gives me any hope.

Toppin is fine, he'll be back, what I don't like is treating him like a Senior when he still has 2 years of eligibility left.

Toppin's just doing that thing where he gets some good info from scouts on what he needs to do (shooting/handles), I think he'll be back.

There have been 8 great days in UK history. The NBA draft has no bearing on them.
