I'll begrudgingly admit that Anth is a pretty sharp dude. So in real life, I give his opinions a fair amount of respect. That goes for the few other non idiots that post on here.

But it amazes me how many other yahoos on Rivals, Facebook and the like are so much smarter than the doctors, scientists and disease specialists that are studying Covid-19.

* No to black olives on tacos. Yes to black olives on Mexican Lasagna, nachos and on a few select pizzas.

* My agency spends a lot of money on Matt Jones because I believe in Matt Jones.

As an olive lover (and general fan of all things pickled) I would absolutely agree that black olives would be too strong an overpowering on a taco. Olive loaf is delicious BTW.

I usually work through lunch so I have about 5 minutes to consume something. I’ve drank almost every protein shake known to man, and am currently just drinking a muscle milk for lunch, but looking for a healthy meal replacement shake that won’t give me cancer or diabetes, seems almost impossible to find.

I'm saying I agree with a lot of your opinions, and they are usually well thought out. But I don't agree with a lot of these other idiots who are suddenly disease experts when they obviously have the IQ of BBdK's golf towel.

Therapeutic Tuesday Randoms:

-The comeback from vacation has really made me hit the wall today. I think it has to do with the uncertainty on what the future is going to be especially with sports.

-Weiss Lake was the most packed I have ever seen it. Apparently you can't get a good used boat or jet ski right now either. We stayed in everyday and never went to eat out which kept the day pretty much open. Take the kids skiing/tubing in the morning and then its off to Cold One City.

-Traffic was also the best I have seen it for a 4th week/weekend. I've hit that after the 4th I-75 ride home in the past and it has been miserable.

-If anything the pandemic has made me really look at simplifying life. Or at least financial life. Not to go all all Dave Ramsey but I will definitely have a better nest egg the next time this happens.

-Brahma Fear is my underrated Buffet song.

-I like KSR and still listen daily but I really think Matt is falling into whatever the left media narrative is on the Corona. Saying that if we had been wearing masks this would be over is just wrong on so many levels. People believe what he says and that comment was irresponsible.

-Yeah Anth is my go to on the Corona but I wish I completely shared his optimism. I ultimately think pro sports push on but college is in trouble and for many schools it is going to be an extension level event. No hyperbole.

-We've talked about this but I grew up going to that lake several times per year. Back when it was safe for little rednecks to ride in the back of a pick up(with a topper(most of the time)) from Louisville to Ft. Payne, AL. Need to bring the bourbon crew down during crappy season.

-I don't have any opinion on college sports because if we're going to test every other day without reason and stop programs every time we get a positive... I'm not sure how you play a season. It's hard to blame the players on for not wanting to deal with it and I can understand the colleges struggling with logistics if that's honestly where they think they need to be to avoid liability. I personally don't get it. IMO, and I'm no expert, but test on return. Test on symptoms. Then aggressively test if you get a positive. Quarantine players just like they do with guys getting the flu during the season.

The biggest problem with overcoming Covid, like everything in this country, is it has become a political issue with drooling morons being the most vocal. There is no room for sensible analysis or behavior. Either you are killing everyone, or it’s a hoax and doesn’t exist.

Wear a mask every where at all times or you are a murderer (unless you’re doing something we agree with politically).

Wearing a mask is for pussies and MAW RIGHTS.

Maybe develop a national set of sensible and attainable guidelines to deal with this thing. Can’t ignore it, can’t let it kill the economy. Someone smart, articulate and convincing needs to grab this f*cking thing by the balls and figure it out.

This came out four years ago and was a survey conducted by WaPo of Nativie Americans in all 50 states. They begrudgingly had to post the results.

Among the Native Americans reached over a five-month period ending in April, more than 7 in 10 said they did not feel the word “Redskin” was disrespectful to Indians. An even higher number — 8 in 10 — said they would not be offended if a non-native called them that name.

Maybe it’s just offensive to the Karen’s of the world as it seems to provide a sense of pride to the ones that matter most?
