Makes me realize how dumb I was as a kid and how lucky my friends and I are that we never drowned. There’s a cove next to the marina with a water fall and cliffs to jump off of called Little Louisville that we’d walk to regularly. Not only would we cliff jump without a flotation device anywhere in the vicinity when we got bored we’d swim out to a dock in the middle of the cove 300 yards away.

We used to jump off coal tipples into the Ohio from about 40ft totally parent approved. Hell, my dad joined us. We were teenagers at best.

We also used to have a cave in Etown (cardinal creek) and we’d go deeeeep in that thing to wear we could barely squeeze through with just flashlights. Can’t believe we didn’t die in there. It’s covered in bars now.

MJ tweeted about the lack of media coverage of what happened in Bloomington. That’s what came up when I typed it in. Looks like the video started recording in the middle of an altercation which obviously makes it hard to judge what’s really going on. The replies are cancer

From 1993-2007, Barry Bonds had more intentional walks than the Twins, Rangers, White Sox, Orioles, A’s, Blue Jays, Royals, and Tigers.

In other news, I know no one wants to hear it but I feel worse about college sports today that at any time since all this started. There are some real internal fights on UK's campus about a lot of the protocols and it is only going to get worse when the other schools and SEC gets involved. I hope it happens for many reasons (not least of all our businesses) but I have never been more pessimistic about it...at least for the fall.

But lets hope I am wrong. At least we will get some pro sports soon

* Seven NBA teams have already shut down their practice facilities in the run-up to taking everyone to the Disney Bubble. I'm skeptical that we will see the NBA play out the full plan and I wouldn't be shocked if it never even starts.

It certainly doesn't help that the NBA is doubling down on the woke **** and a lot of the players are all but openly admitting they want to strike for BLM while still getting paid.

I'll believe there is high level basketball played in America when I see it and not before.

* Even before Barry Bonds took so many steroids that his head changed shape, he was still a first ballot HOFer. A total prick, sure, but an amazingly good baseball player.

The greats of that era were the greats of that era, imo, even if everyone was juiced to the gills. It is typical baseball sportswriter sanctimony that keeps Bonds, McGwire, Clemens, A-Rod etc. out of the HOF.

I think I have a proven history of defending you and your show on here, but I like politics and lean pretty heavily to the right. So bear in mind any (harmless) slander from me towards you is geared towards your political persona and not KSR or actual self. If that helps.

Oh, I did bet SAE that KSBar would go out of business strictly because I've seen a million other restaurants and bars struggle in the space you selected, and I believe in the "location, location, location" theory of restaurants. And although Covid is probably hurting everybody, I'll be happy to admit I was wrong on that front.

Asked my trainer this morning about DeChambeau and without knowing anything else he said 100% juicing. Basically impossible to add 50lbs of muscle in 6 months without something.

I'm still leaning towards he being clean but maybe not as confident as I was before that convo.

All Byron’s clubs are custom made and the same length (except driver), he sprays his golf balls on the driving range and putting green to see how they react with water and walks off 80 yard shots when he has gps yardages to every pin.

He’s and obsessive compulsive maniac...so you could tell me he’s on the needle or that he worked out 5 times and drank 10 protein shakes a day and neither would raise an eyebrow.

He’s both a dbag and must see TV (which is good for golf).

He didn't add 50 Lbs of muscle...considering he weighed 220 in Dec, and 230-240 now, plus going through a strict weight lifting program for 8 months...toning and 20 Lbs of muscle is not out of the question.

Started at 190 in October according to the reports. I tend to agree he's not but I'm just passing along what someone, who would know, said. He looked at Bryson's before and after pictures, said he's puffy as f*ck, and no chance he did that without help in 6 months.

He had no idea who Bryson was before this but if UKO is on team no juice I may be switching sides.

Go ahead if you don't want to use common sense...adding 50 Lbs of muscle takes a couple of years, even for juicing bodybuilders.

Controversial take by the biggest Brave's fan on here that's probably wrong but I don't feel like proving it. I always felt like Glavine and Maddux were very hittable if you were a disciplined hitter, as their stuff wasn't electric. Smoltz, on the other hand, had great stuff but wasn't as disciplined or strategic (relatively) as the other two.

Most athletes these days take stuff to recover faster. It's more important for the body to bounce back quickly than add cartoon character muscles. That's why all kinds of pitchers were getting popped doping, including Clark's boy Prior, so their arms could endure the seasonal grind.

Take Bryson's schedule from October until now...I assume he still plays golf about every day in the off-season, right? Add in that nouveau fitness routine posted yesterday and assuming he has any life outside of training, he would definitely need some form of chemical assistance to bounce back each day, tear down those muscle fibers and have them quickly recover. When you add in the physical transformation that has transpired so quickly then it's almost naive to think it could come about any other way.

I don't really consider my "political persona" different from just my regular self. One read on this site and one would assume you derive much of your joy in life from politics...it is literally the topic you speak about most. So I would assume you would say your (to use your words) right wing persona is who you are as a person. That would be true of me as well. I talk politics more online than I do in real life, but my feelings on them are really just an extension of my feelings about things in general.

I wasn't even really talking about politics. I was talking more about just your personality. In person you are very quiet, really kind and almost shy. On here, you speak with bravado, talk **** and are almost arrogant. When I was told this screen name was you, I literally couldn't believe it. I don't really know any people personally except you guys who post on message boards. And the couple I do know (Anth and SAE) beyond mere acquaintances are similar in real life. So it was just an eye-opener. Not saying you are a bad dude...far from it. But you are VERY different in real life.

With that said, I wasn't sure if KSBar would work, but we wanted to try something. The location has ended up being a godsend because its proximity to both football and basketball allows us to get huge pregame crowds (which are usually more profitable than even the in-game watchers). Rupp hasn't been open unfortunately (due to renovation) for most of our run, but when they have concerts, that is also great business for us. The pandemic has hurt some, but our takeout stuff did pretty well and now because we have all the space outside, we actually have done pretty solid business since the reopening. But we need a big fall and who knows if that will happen if there are no games.

We have nothing to do with the Kilt. One of our co-owners is involved but Hubby and I aren't in on it.

100% agree about sports writers and the era of steroids. Bonds was on an entirely different level than the other admitted steroid users.

More Barry Bonds facts...

26.3% of Barry Bonds’ 12,606 career plate appearances ended with a home run or a walk. From 2001-2004, that number was 39.5%.
