* In the world of commercial coffee makers, there's Bunn, and there's everyone else.
Actually......is there anyone else? They've gotta own 100% of the market. If not more.
* It's not the peaks and valleys I like to see with the Greatest Program of All Time, but a down year followed by a "Win A Title Or You're Fired You Stupid Italian Fatass" mandate is pretty brilliant if played correctly. Looks good so far in this busy offseason.
* Nice little weekend. Hiked from Aspen over to Crested Butte on Sunday, spent the night, then came back in reverse on Monday. Mountain town thoughts.....
- Aspen = median home price in '21 was a slick $9.5 million. It's so perfectly neat/clean/upscale that it's kinda boring and a little intimidating. Fun for maybe a day or two, but it's just too much imho.
- Crested Butte = awesome place. Also extremely wealthy, but they still have some dirt roads downtown, and have managed to maintain plenty of dirtbag vibe. Big fan.
* My Reds have pulled off the unimaginable after a horrid start -- they're actually a pretty fun team to watch. I'm buying all the Lodolo stock.
* If you're interested in a political show that spends it's entire time ridiculing every single elected official and mainstream media talking head on the planet, Jimmy Dore is great in spurts. That guy is great, and nuts.
* That Veronica Vaughn is one piece of ace. I know from experience, dude.
* Movie and pizza and anal night tonight: Where The Crawdads Sing. Book was great.
* Just a simple, straightforward show, but I love Buster Olney's Baseball Tonight podcast. And while we're at it, congrats to Tim Kurkjian on being elected to the baseball Hall of Fame. What a well deserved honor, and his emotions around the recognition really highlight how much he loves the game.

* I consider myself to be a pretty generous guy, but damned if I'm not a much bigger taker than a giver when it comes to the Little Free Library sitch. Spotted a copy of The Road last week, and had to bring that home. I mean marcus.

* 61 and sunny at the moment. Coffee in hand. Slanging some insurance and laying low today. Nice little Tuesday.
