Mo Salah has announced he is leaving at the end of the season. He deserves to leave on his own terms for sure. He has dropped off tremendously this year, but if you look at his stats he is still among the best in the EPL. Last year was just phenomenal, especially at his age. He will leave as a forever icon at Liverpool.

All good things must come to an end. It's time. Hope he'll have a few good years left in him.

Any chance there was a Slot-Salah feud?

I don't think they get along well but Salah has dropped off. He was probably going to lose his stating spot next season had he stayed. He is 33. That is on up there for an attacker, especially one that plays the way he does. He just doesn't have the legs he did have.
