Liverpool hasn’t won the champions league since Arteta has been at Arsenal (hired December 2019) trying to downplay the league champions who were in first place since October and champions league finalists to make you feel better about how much a train wreck the 5th place club is in right now is your prerogative

Fans of smaller clubs are funny. Twenty times, six times. I seem to remember that Arsenal has never won a European Trophy, at least one of the big ones. Heck Nottingham Forrest even has two European Cups.
Again all of that is irrelevant to TODAY. Today Liverpool sacked the manager that won the league a year ago after a feud with their exiting star who acted like a diva on the way out and divided the locker room. Today Arsenal (premier league champion) lost in penalties to the now back to back UCL winners. Who would you rather be right now?
