The death rate will decrease, wait and see. Treatments will get better. It's basically 1%, it will lower here.
Conjecture. But government and private parties can help those problems. Currently, we don't have a way to control this pandemic.

Being personally affected shouldn't skew the facts. You keep coming up with reasons not to go back to work. wonder why?
Time to have faith in the best medical people in the world. People can adapt and we will. This stuff isn't that damn bad. If it were, there would be plenty of people dying of all ages and not just the compromised. The compromised are always at risk from any disease. The strong survive.
Personally, I'm working every single day. I'm fortunate and can work from home and have worked from home 60% of the time for the past 6 years so no big deal for me. Company of over 40,000 employees worldwide, everyone that can work from home is. And we are not going back until the medical community says so and not by some artificial timeline.
I know a large part of the population doesn't have the leadership my company has making that hard decision. They are relying on leadership from other places and the most obvious is the President. Unfortunately, that message wasn't good from the start for a couple of months then it was decent for about a week and now it is horrible again. That is a problem.
I'm a healthcare worker who suspended his dental practice. I'm also the dentist at the regional jail here. I have to work there but can't in my practice. That sure doesn't make sense does it? I put up with the only President to compete with Carter for the worst. He brought in Ebola, far worse than this, into the country. I never heard a word from you or any liberal.
Why would the economy totally shut down? starvation? coronavirus disease? you're the blowhard.
Unfortunately, you have a hardship. Your hardship doesn't come before the well being of your community. Shutting down your practice is unfortunate and hopefully the government will be there for you if you need it, even though for 65 years you have been anti-government and social programs. But that is what America is about; helping out each other in the time of need.

Govt has never helped me. I've paid more in taxes than most people make in a year. I protect myself from things much worse than this but I'm asked to close. But, because they're prisoners, I have to go to see them and many, many have hep and aids. I risk a lot, something that a person working at home doesn't experience.
Quit whining if you don't want the help congress is trying to get you. Others will want and need the help. But please get yourself better informed.
I think we need to get back to work and let medicine treat the afflicted. I think Easter would be a great time to shoot for.
Quit your whining because somebody thinks we're overreacting. I have no problem with what the govt is doing. Funding for abortions and sanctuary cities isn't needed in the bills being put forth. People are going to need help. I won't qualify for anything that I couldn't get from the banks on my own.

The guy who works from home. I've been in hep protocol three times for needle sticks. Been fortunate never to have a problem. Twice in last 4 years from the jail. I can read just fine. Life is full of risks, prolonged isolation from screwed up government shouldn't be one of them.

17 states now have a stay at home order. None of those 17 are red states in the southeast. Shocker I know.
Louisiana is more purple. States not having a stay at home order: NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, TN, MS, AR.
Individual counties and cities are ordering shelter in place as mine did last night. But that will do little good. The governor won't act until too late, just like the WH.
