It's not just Wilson. Her teammates were off the court too. Can't let this go. If you allow this, WNBA, then the rest of what little credibility you have left will be gone. Enforce the rules.
Exactly my point. If your not going to enforce your own rules because a key players would miss a game, then why did they foul Clark out in the last couple of minutes up five? Were they trying to impact the winner of the game? Clark was tossed because she was called for her 6th foul, (regardless how bogus a couple of them were), and that's the rule. SO, what's the league going to do about this deal? Nothing.......

Wdsmhawk thinks this is funny for some reason, I don't get it
Can you imagine Miles if she was treated like this?

Nothing at all.
Keep telling yourself that.......Explain why Wilson wasn't' ejected or suspended as per the WNBA rules for stepping into the fans area OFF the floor and confronting a fan. Explain why NO penalty has been levied on the Aces bench, again as per WNBA and NBA rules that players may not leave their bench area during a confrontation. I'll be expecting a reasonable answer the same time you post "all the things Clark gets away with" that other players don't.....

Okay @Legend12, explain why he's wrong. (rule 12A section 4) of the WNBA's code of conduct say's "any player or coach who goes into the fans area, (even stepping past the first row) and is not from a continuation of a play WILL be immediately ejected from the game. Why was Wilson not ejected, and why has nothing been done yet by the league to Wilson OR the players who left the bench?

Because the WNBA, like every professional league, makes every effort to keep their best players playing.

Do you want the rule book followed to it's exact wording and a foul called on CC every time she pushes off? Of course not, no one does...fans want the best players playing as much as possible. CC pushed a player into the basket stanchion last night away from the play, which would have been an easy flagrant if they wanted to, but nothing was called and nothing came of it...which is perfectly fine.

Why do you think it is that Fever/CC fans think Aja gets a special whistle and just as many Aces/Wilson fans think CC gets a special whistle?

Because they BOTH get a special whistle at times...like just about every great player before them.

Whistles for regular play are one thing. Stepping across the line into FANS territory has long been something that's not tolerated. That has nothing to do with regular plays during the game. EVERY league has specific rules about players making aggressive moves against fans. Its clearly stated that NO player may leave the court and enter into the fans area on their own. This is marked by crossing the end line when not in continuation of a play, (by rule). This is a rule recognized in EVERY sport. Each league also has clear rules about bench players leaving the bench to enter confrontations. Yes, I'd expect Clark to get tossed if she left the floor and went after a fan, but she's never done that. Why should Wilson be given a pass on a concrete rule every league has put in place to avoid the chance of a player vs fan confrontation? Clark got her sixth foul and was removed from the game PER the rule. Wilson broke a much bigger rule, as it applies to fan-player safety and the rule (12A section 4 of the players code of conduct), clearly calls for an immediate ejection. Why was she not ejected?

The same kind of thing has happened in the NBA without a suspension.

The same kind of thing has happened in the NFL without a suspension (even when a player made contact w/ a fan).

Nothing is "concrete" in the rules.

Got it. Forget the rules, because "the rules" are at the discretion of the officials at that point? So why was Clark given her 6th foul on what could also have been charging on Wilson, and THEN Wilson stood over , made a gesture and then said something. Should have been a T on Wilson for taunting Clark. So, forget the rules for the MVP, but no issue tossing Clark from the game in a close game the last 2 1/2 minutes in the playoffs? Got it. So what were those things that Clark "gets away with that other players don't", again?

Slugfest tomorrow night @ 8PM on USA.
I looked yesterday and it looked like the game was only streaming. Did USA just pick up the game? Yep, its going to be a brawl, and its pretty clear by the foul discrepancy has gone both of the first two games how that's going to go. Fever better be hitting their three's when they're not pounding the paint again.

Please win this game Fever! Wilson and the officials will be tough to overcome. The W will not like it if their MVP is sent home.

You have zero objectivity when it comes to her. That was a clear and obvious 6th foul on CC. There was no arguing from anyone. And Wilson didn't taunt Clark. They didn't "toss" Clark from the game she got a 6th foul that was obvious to everyone and fouled out of the game.
