Bar fight, and no calls BUT Clark gets 6 fouls and the Aces shoot 34 free throws??????????????????
A different angle. Is that his wife pulling him down to his seat? LOL
Doesn’t matter…the rules don’t say they can go after a fan if the player feels it’s justified. Players need to learn to ignore fans.Cloud situation was way different. You had Enes Kanter provoking things.
Exactly my point. If your not going to enforce your own rules because a key players would miss a game, then why did they foul Clark out in the last couple of minutes up five? Were they trying to impact the winner of the game? Clark was tossed because she was called for her 6th foul, (regardless how bogus a couple of them were), and that's the rule. SO, what's the league going to do about this deal? Nothing.......It's not just Wilson. Her teammates were off the court too. Can't let this go. If you allow this, WNBA, then the rest of what little credibility you have left will be gone. Enforce the rules.
Can you imagine Miles if she was treated like this?Wdsmhawk thinks this is funny for some reason, I don't get it
What do you think would have happened if Clark had turned and confronted the fan, and stepped out of bounds?
I am sure CC will get her wish the refs will be better.

What was made up in that video. I'm a cc fan, I'm not embarrassed. Why should we be embarrassedThe @ button exists for a reason champ. Use it next time.
I laughed at the video because ESPBen makes up crap and is an embarrassment to Caitlin Clark fans.

Keep telling yourself that.......Explain why Wilson wasn't' ejected or suspended as per the WNBA rules for stepping into the fans area OFF the floor and confronting a fan. Explain why NO penalty has been levied on the Aces bench, again as per WNBA and NBA rules that players may not leave their bench area during a confrontation. I'll be expecting a reasonable answer the same time you post "all the things Clark gets away with" that other players don't.....Nothing at all.

Because the WNBA, like every professional league, makes every effort to keep their best players playing.
Do you want the rule book followed to it's exact wording and a foul called on CC every time she pushes off? Of course not, no one does...fans want the best players playing as much as possible. CC pushed a player into the basket stanchion last night away from the play, which would have been an easy flagrant if they wanted to, but nothing was called and nothing came of it...which is perfectly fine.
Why do you think it is that Fever/CC fans think Aja gets a special whistle and just as many Aces/Wilson fans think CC gets a special whistle?
Because they BOTH get a special whistle at times...like just about every great player before them.
Whistles for regular play are one thing. Stepping across the line into FANS territory has long been something that's not tolerated. That has nothing to do with regular plays during the game. EVERY league has specific rules about players making aggressive moves against fans. Its clearly stated that NO player may leave the court and enter into the fans area on their own. This is marked by crossing the end line when not in continuation of a play, (by rule). This is a rule recognized in EVERY sport. Each league also has clear rules about bench players leaving the bench to enter confrontations. Yes, I'd expect Clark to get tossed if she left the floor and went after a fan, but she's never done that. Why should Wilson be given a pass on a concrete rule every league has put in place to avoid the chance of a player vs fan confrontation? Clark got her sixth foul and was removed from the game PER the rule. Wilson broke a much bigger rule, as it applies to fan-player safety and the rule (12A section 4 of the players code of conduct), clearly calls for an immediate ejection. Why was she not ejected?Because the WNBA, like every professional league, makes every effort to keep their best players playing.
