Read better.

And don't call me a liar, you idiot
I tend to avoid labeling someone unless someone absolutely has earned it.
You typed things then typed that you didn’t type those things. Then said you had a reason for typing the things that you said you didn't type.
Unfortunately that makes you a liar. It’s a character flaw you have.

And yours would that be you can't read worth a ****.

Perfectly legitimate explanations, clarifications, and admissions.

Get over yourself.

I have no problem saying if I was forced to pick, I'd take PB. That just wasn't what I was communicating when I said, "Paige WAS always better". As AGAIN, the context of the paragraph clearly shows

Actually my enhanced reading skills is what allowed me to see that you both typed things, then denied typing things and then said 'well I typed them for a reason'

Should I start a poll
"which character flaw would you rather have
A. Be considered a poor reader by one of the worst posters on this, or any board
or
B. Be a documented liar

Heck i could even enhance it by just leaving A as 'be considered a bad reader'

That is a skill that can be worked on. Lying is a character flaw that stays with you for life. Enjoy that burden.

Why do stats not show the negative side of stats? Although CC is averaging 20.1 points, 9 assists and 5 rebounds per game in her WNBA career, she also has averaged 5.1 turnovers per game. Her fast pace plus players not familiar with her passing surely contributes. I did see she has improved from 5.6 her rookie year to averaging 4.6 this year.
Assist to turnovers is a true measurable, just saying.
True, BUT she had a lot of TO's at Iowa as well, but literally carried an overall average team to the very brink of back to back National championships, while leading the nation in scoring and assists. I'll deal with the "bad" for that level of great.....

Angel showing the world that she dominates women's basketball and can't be stopped by anyone.

Watch:

I said in the previous offseason that the Fever should have gone after Griner to pair with Boston. Imagine those two down low with a passer like CC and a shooter like KM. She’s old, but can still deliver valuable minutes.

So you typed 'Paige was always better' and 'if I was forced to pick'

and after you typed those you had this gem

I didn't say either player was better.

You have elevated to 'liar, liar, pants on fire' status.

Commence the deflections, diminishing, disparaging and rationalizations. You behave like a penn state apologist.

5 Fever players had season ending injuries last year - Clark, Cunningham, Sydney Colson, Aari McDonald, and Chloe Bibby.

White got the team within one game of the WNBA finals with a depleted regular roster and a number of emergency replacement players They will be fine if they can stay relatively healthy.

Wish they would have re-signed Natasha Howard.
The league was a lot worse last year especially later in the year.

She’s also a very high usage guard, so her turnovers per attempts is probably one of the better ones in the league. If someone averages two turnovers per game, look at how many times they handle the ball then multiply that number plus the turnovers to equal how many times CC handles it.

No, you are mixing two different distinctions that have had to be made. All of this has already been broken down and this is the last time I will be doing it.

First, to get out of the way my thoughts on context, which you are trying to catch me on. I'm on record saying context does not matter when it comes to the record book, and especially 26 year books. For example, people's opinions about strength of schedule mean jack squat. But I'm sure you already knew all that. So, nice try.

The first distinction that had to be made was when someone thought they were clever and were going to catch me in having said, "I never said PB IS better", by quoting my having previously said, "Paige WAS always better."

I can see how someone might not initially realize the distinction. But I can also see how anyone that's actually a careful reader, and doesn't have their panties all up in bunch, trying to catch Ole Eyes in a contradiction, would easily enough pick up on the distinction, given the context of the rest of the 2nd quote's paragraph, that is clearly discussing the years prior Paige's injury.

The 2nd distinction that had to be made, was when some clever no-life tried to catch me in a contradiction, where I had used "was", instead of more appropriately having used "is".

To that, I have already admitted to sloppy wording. And have shown it to have been in response to you having posted "CC > Paige". The greater than symbol is representative only of the present. Therefore, with that context, it could have easily enough been implied that I also was speaking of the comparison between the two players, at present.

When people stop nitpicking semantics and trying to ambush contradictions, is when I might start to wonder if the thoughts in my posts might be somewhat off-base.

And I'm going to give you a pass on calling me a Nebraska fan, even though your previously having been warned, based on the context of that previous warning having been in this thread, and it being obvious that you are only doing it now to be a jackass. But please stop
May I respectfully suggest you get a life? Please.
Still double doubled and won. Griner also fined for an upgraded flagrant on Reese.
THEY HAD TO UPGRADE THAT! JFC, it looked criminal.

Angel also finally got her first three-pointer of the season. She’s now 1-for-10 from beyond the arc. She’ll be a stretch four in no time at all now.

Pesky details

Paige was always better. She was the face of women's college hoops before she got hurt. CC ran with that opportunity and did great things, no doubt. Credit to her. But Paige didn't go anywhere.
You can't possibly be this dumb.

PB WAS better, when she WAS the face of the game, BEFORE she got hurt, you **** for brain.

What I have not said, is, "PB was always (this entire time) better than CC", as is being attributed to me.

This is not difficult at all. Just stop

Here. Since you guys can't understand what I have and have not said; let me tell you my entire thoughts on the comparison.

Up until Paige's injury, I believe her to have been the better player.

Once injured, CC made a huge move, that could be argued to have separated her, even if PB had been playing. At this point, CC was the better player.

I think CC continued to be the better player for a while, after PB returned.

At this point, it's not my preference to call either the better player. I think it's pretty much a matter of preference, as I can easily see either side.

If I had a gun to my head, I would say PB is better.

If I was a GM, I'd probably start my team with PB. But that's not necessarily to say I think she's better. And even that, is dependent on what type of resources/plan you have. But I think in a generic vacuum, PB is probably the more versatile option. Certainly, I can also see the other side.

I will also say (if the Fever's current struggles and/or health problems persist) that it would appear PB might be on the better trajectory.

That's all I got. I've had no problem saying any of this, all along. But have instead, had to continuously correct you guys about what I had and had not said.

Tons of fun, I know. Keep enjoying yourselves

NBA all time turnover leaders. All nobodies. Right?

Just means the ball is in their hands more than anybody else's.

Who would you start your team with if you were the owner rather than the GM?
So, merch and paying butts in the seats come in to play for the bottom line. Great question TJ. For anyone with a quarter of a brain, the answer is obvious. Someone please let me know eyes response as I finally put that knebby fan on ignore.
