No, you are mixing two different distinctions that have had to be made. All of this has already been broken down and this is the last time I will be doing it.

First, to get out of the way my thoughts on context, which you are trying to catch me on. I'm on record saying context does not matter when it comes to the record book, and especially 26 year books. For example, people's opinions about strength of schedule mean jack squat. But I'm sure you already knew all that. So, nice try.

The first distinction that had to be made was when someone thought they were clever and were going to catch me in having said, "I never said PB IS better", by quoting my having previously said, "Paige WAS always better."

I can see how someone might not initially realize the distinction. But I can also see how anyone that's actually a careful reader, and doesn't have their panties all up in bunch, trying to catch Ole Eyes in a contradiction, would easily enough pick up on the distinction, given the context of the rest of the 2nd quote's paragraph, that is clearly discussing the years prior Paige's injury.

The 2nd distinction that had to be made, was when some clever no-life tried to catch me in a contradiction, where I had used "was", instead of more appropriately having used "is".

To that, I have already admitted to sloppy wording. And have shown it to have been in response to you having posted "CC > Paige". The greater than symbol is representative only of the present. Therefore, with that context, it could have easily enough been implied that I also was speaking of the comparison between the two players, at present.

When people stop nitpicking semantics and trying to ambush contradictions, is when I might start to wonder if the thoughts in my posts might be somewhat off-base.

And I'm going to give you a pass on calling me a Nebraska fan, even though your previously having been warned, based on the context of that previous warning having been in this thread, and it being obvious that you are only doing it now to be a jackass. But please stop
It’s all good. You have covered both items.
You typed was better and is better.
And then doubled down to say you didn’t type either.
Well unless there are those reasons why you typed both that you said you didn’t other than you did.
I almost got dizzy going in circles like that. Glad you are done with it. I get no enjoyment from publicly showing that you are a liar. It’s a character flaw that you have. Glad I don’t have that flaw.

The primary job of a head coach is not to make players on the team happy. I’m sure CC is frustrated, other Fever players as well, along with coach White (if the team huddle *** chewings are any indication). The coaches and players need to figure it out. The good news is they have plenty of time to do so.
I never said whites job was 'to make her happy", specifically. I just think what they are doing currently isn't working, nor is it making the best use of her skills, and yes as you said I believe that's making her very frustrated. She was so excited to be back on the floor after last year, and I don't think this is how she thought the season would go.

I suppose I’m beating a dead horse already but the Fever have played less than 25% of their regular season schedule. Current frustration notwithstanding, we won’t know how the season goes for the Fever and Caitlin Clark until late September or, more likely, October - more than 4 months from now. I suspect for Clark and everyone else on the team it’s all about winning a championship.

It'd be interesting to try to replicate the situation at Iowa for CC in the WNBA... somewhere where she's surrounding by solid but maybe not great players that like to run... Nobody questions that it's CC's show to run.

We all have our opinions regarding the Coaching staff and FO. I certainly have mine. Let's see how the "voices" of ticket paying fans respond to the drama that we've all had the misfortune to see with our own eyes.

All true, but THIS team will need to make major strides to sniff any kind of a ring. Having said that they got close to playing for one last year, so who knows. Don't see it though. The problem is not only are the bench/role players pretty meh, but NONE of the big three are playing all that well, (although Clarks stats aren't bad) they are all struggling with consistency. That's just seem to be a "system" issue when no one really seems to be excelling.

This Fever roster is easily a playoff team absent multiple key injuries. We’ll see what kind of post-season run they make. Pretty good shot to make the finals (without major injuries)IMO.

We'll just agree to disagree that this is a championship level team unless they really turn this around. After the B1G three I just don't see it. Frankly the way the expansion draft is set up those teams all come in ready to roll. last year the Valkerires, and both Portland and Toronto look like pretty good teams.
