A serious question for Schiano lovers

You know you are losing the Schiano argument when you continuously bring up lacrosse. Thank God for them now that you do though, at least they aren't embarrassing the university.

So you are in the give Schiano a lifetime unlimited budget camp. Good to know. I am interested in others opinions.
No actually I was just answering a stupid question with an equally ridiculous response. By the way be careful. That bullet you dodged is right behind you.

I don't even know who "Jedd" is, so not sure what you are talking about. And you didn't answer my question, understanding you agree that other people could do this. And for the record, people have posted here that no, they don't believe anyone else can do it. And we weren't talking about Saban.
There’s a handful of only Schiano’s.
There’s a boat load of GS only because Norvell, Clawson and 3 or 4 can’t miss guys have zero interest .
Jedd Fisch was high on the list of new coaches Hobbs was targeting as of yesterday.

Oh I expect Schiano to have come to his senses.

But it’s not a ridiculous question. 8 years is perfectly acceptable to the St Schiano crowd. I’m asking what isn’t. You are already on record. No need to respond.

Why do you care how long?
I don’t care, I’m not paying

Schiano spent 11 years at Rutgers and never won a conference title. Heck, Flood figured out how to do that. His last three seasons on the banks his best finish was 4th place in the crappy old Big East.
Why do you remember him being as a guy which after more than a decade on the job could only deliver a crappy 4th place in a conference much weaker than the BigTen? And why do you believe he will somehow do better and not be completely outmatched by better game day coaches like he was for 11 years in the old Big East?

I nominate this for dumbest post of the year.

What you don't feel like chatting? You've been rather boisterous the last few days.

Why do you care about anything you aren't paying for in that case? Pretty simple question. So far two pro Schiano-ites can't answer it. Interesting.

They gave Ash seven. You can't give him less years than the guy that did all this damage. That's just ridiculous.

That was a mistake. So would 8 for someone with Schiano's record.

Is there a number that you think is too much?

I’ve answered it truthfully, I don’t care how long.
Obviously you know it’s not longer than 8... why keep asking

Appreciate your honesty. So far, two have answered the question, both have said unlimited years. I am not surprised, but it is interesting. I bet others who are Shiano or bust would answer the same. Saban doesn't even have an unlimited contract. Tells you a lot.

Never spent a moment thinking what's too much. Six was the offer, eight was the counter after they started taking concessions off the table and moving the goalposts, and hopefully something in that range gets done. Nobody is talking about ten, twelve years and such, so I am comfortable with the range that is in play.

Not nearly as much as you. The facts I've been presenting have been burning you up for some reason. #Fanboi
Haven't seen such facts. Seen a lot of your opinions though. And actually feeling rather peppy right now thanks. #heartbroken

I don't know that. There are some delusional people here. One person already admitted such, and so did you unless you didn't edit that post. Did you?
Only one person I know of.
Since 8 was discussed and length, I just figured that was the ceiling.
Unlimited is asinine, you really sound desperate trying to make a point using unlimited.
Absolutely no one is advocating for that, but if ONE guy says it, I guess we all feel that way

You’re wrong. Someone has already advocated for that here and elsewhere. Man, simple questions get some of you guys so upset. It’s sports. R Elax.

That’s name calling? Man you’re soft. I’ll be as gentle as I can.
Just seems a little immature for you. Hey call me whatever you want. I just thought you were a little better debater than that. So answer my question. What are you going to do when Schiano picks the new AD?

I’m sorry I upset you by making a benign joke about your lord and savior. I’ll try and refrain next time.

If that’s true, he will just name himself. I’m ok with that. It would be good to expose him to things outside of world.

Let me ask you a question Cali.
There are literally 1000s upon 1000s of people who want GS back.
I talk sports at our museum, talk with sport writers and play golf with sports enthusiasts every day...everyone wants GS back.

You are part of 20 people on this board, you exist amongst 1000s of us.

You don’t find it strange your position is literally non existent among fans and sports media experts?

You think you’re smarter than everyone, including ex coaches and ex players who love him

I was never a follower so none of that concerns me. After reading the hysterical drama queens on this board, I’m actually happy to not agree with some small amount of overall Rutgers grads, of which there are hundreds of thousands. That petition had 2,500 sigs with a number of fakes.

And you still misunderstand and attempt to mistake my position on Gary even though you’ve asked me and I told you directly. Why is that?

So you've now gone on record that you're ok with Greg Schiano as AD. Great! Now what out of this world things do you want to expose? Must be a California thing.

I never ever said his ex players don’t love him. Another fake straw man. I love Coach Hayes. If he called me tomorrow and said he wanted to coach at RU and the job is open would support him. That doesn’t mean much to me other than relationships were built, which I appreciate.

Actually President. Maybe that building is big enough for his ego. Just don’t ask him to make RU the best.

Why not? Are you and your mighty Olympians going to restore RU's reputation on the national stage? Oh sorry I forgot your favorite sport isn't played in many places.

group think, 9th man, being prudent, take your pic. I'd also say with 100% confidence you are yourself in a bubble which negates any real objectivity here.

Oddly, I don't recall anyone on this board, yourself included, ever saying sports writers are the brightest or most in in tune with the subject around....... what's changed?
