I had a 5.0L REAL mustang back in the day. My favorite car of all time. Kids came and it wasn't practical. IDK why Ford chose to use the mustang brand as their EV. But, I really like it.I guess as a Mustang guy, SVO…I just don’t see it.

Tesla Robotaxi Austin Safety Record: What NHTSA Data Shows
Nearly a year into Tesla's Robotaxi service in Austin, the federal safety record is in — and it's more nuanced than either critics or boosters typically acknowledge. Family sues Tesla after woman killed by vehicle allegedly in self-driving mode
The family of a woman who was killed when a Tesla crashed into her home while allegedly in self-driving mode is suing the automaker and the driver for damages.abcnews.com
1. Is robotaxi using different software?1. Not a robotaxi and
2. I wonder if you read the link you posted.
“Ashok Elluswamy, Tesla's head of AI, responded to Musk's post on X, claiming the self-driving mode was manually overridden.
"Yup. In this case, the driver manually overrode self-driving by pressing the accelerator all the way to 100% of the accel pedal in this residential area. They reached a speed of 73 mph during the crash, and had the accelerator pressed even after the crash," he posted.”
1. Yes. Depending on the year, which hasn’t been reported, different hardware too.1. Is robotaxi using different software?
2. Not surprised they denied it. Have they ever come out and said it was their fault?
Man I miss the conversations here about how Lidar was necessary for safety and Tesla was insane for not using it
They do, but they’re also geofenced. And yes, plenty of data showing they’re safer than humans. It’s pretty obvious all forms of self driving will end up being safer, regardless of the system used.Does Waymo still use Lidar? Didn’t they just get cited for being safer than drivers?
Isn’t all FSD geofenced? I think Waymo is the only one that truly operates full driverless. They do, but they’re also geofenced. And yes, plenty of data showing they’re safer than humans. It’s pretty obvious all forms of self driving will end up being safer, regardless of the system used.
Poor labeling here which Tesla has been criticized for. Tesla’s FSD is supervised but not geo fenced. All of the driverless options (Waymo, Tesla, zook) are all level 4- driverless and geo fenced. No one has achieved level 5, which would remove fencing.Isn’t all FSD geofenced? I think Waymo is the only one that truly operates full driverless.
