They do this at the same time every year, so any lingering recruits or transfers don’t wanna come. Cal won’t leave, we know that.
Where do the “begok” references come from? Please, PLEASE--may it be true!!!
LA deserves begok!!!
rr
That would be great and then he can just roll the ball out. Oh he'll based on recent results he is already doing that.Just read the article posted a few hours ago linking Cal to the Lakers. Most importantly saying Cal is open to leaving UK. Here’s the link
Problem is the entire roster could bolt like at LSU. Also, who would do better? Put your hands down!I would trade Cal for Vogel straight up.
Outcoached night in, night out...Lol at the comments on this thread …but yeah if true this a big WOW …I just am reminded of Cal’s NBA coaching experience and if my memory serves it was not good and he got out very fast
Who do we have that we can’t lose? Our current roster is crap and the ones we are in on, not elite by any stretch. Cal stays, we suck next year. He leaves, we suck next year. We should take our chances.Problem is the entire roster could bolt like at LSU. Also, who would do better? Put your hands down!
A change this late??Vogel is getting at least one more year to try to sort of the mess the front office has created. I don’t think this is remotely true and hope now. Cal’s earned a chance to get it fixed at UK.
A change this late would be catastrophic for UK.
Well, not voluntarily. He got fired.I just am reminded of Cal’s NBA coaching experience and if my memory serves it was not good and he got out very fast
We just lost to a bunch of one stars with the NPOY!!Problem is the entire roster could bolt like at LSU. Also, who would do better? Put your hands down!
I'd trade Cal for a shot of snatch off Jeannie Buss.Maybe an even trade? Cal for Frank?
Couldn’t you give me just one hour? Just kidding, of course. Hard to give a lifetime to something, even though it’s just sports, and not justThe timing of this is interesting seeing how Aaron Torres who has gone to the mattresses to defend Cal even threw shade at him with an interview with Colin Cowherd yesterday. Mentioned how he understand why UK fans are frustrated and that it's not Kentucky fans being unreasonable with expectations but just sick of the things that have been repeated here numerous times--not getting top recruits, losing all the big games (Torres even compared the current UK basketball program to the Dallas Cowboys). So you have him mention that and believe Torres is a west coast guy despite being a UConn fan, but know Cowherd is, and this Devaney report which seems to have 0 info and more speculation comes up. The minute I smelled BS was "Cal is a god at Kentucky". This guy doesn't have any clue what is going on in CBB let alone at Kentucky.
Not trying to be a downer for those who want change to happen but just being realistic. This would make 0 interest on either end.
But why would the media be baiting us if there’s no need? Strange response.ROFLMAO!!! Media baiting you guys like hell. Talking head throws a bare hook in the water and KY hater grabs it before it gets wet.
Who do you see having success replacing Calipari and they better be winning out the gate. We are Kentucky and won’t stand for nothing less than championships every year. The timing of this is interesting seeing how Aaron Torres who has gone to the mattresses to defend Cal even threw shade at him with an interview with Colin Cowherd yesterday. The only thing I can think of is if AD and Lebron have said that’s someone they’d be interested in playing for given last relationshipsName one reason they would want him.
I don’t remember who or what year. But, Cal got ejected at Arkansas. Assistant took over. UK wins. That guy, for one.Who do you see having success replacing Calipari and they better be winning out the gate. We are Kentucky and won’t stand for nothing less than championships every year.
He wants to be begged to stay…his ego needs this. What I took from the article is something of a different take.
In that article it says something about Coach Cal been thinking about a return to the NBA if the right situation came about. If this is true, then for me, it says something about his commitment to UK. One can not have his heart in one place and his head in another.
As a old coach, we always told our players, "get your head and heart in the right direction and your feet will follow".
If Coach Cal has been looking at the NBA for the right situation, this may explain some of the failures we have seen the last few years.
I actually will take Torres stance which is UK fans want to CONTEND/COMPETE for championships every year. You all are loyal to the program and as long as they are doing what it takes and showing the program cares about Kentucky....you'll support them. If UK loses to a team in Elite 8, Final Four it stinks, but you are right there with the program. Now you can't excuse St. Peter's. Missing the Tournament. Ruining all the traditional events/games/outings that Kentucky loves.Who do you see having success replacing Calipari and they better be winning out the gate. We are Kentucky and won’t stand for nothing less than championships every year.
Kenny Payne. Always liked UK offensive play in Bahamas when Cal wasn't coaching too. More aggressive and better spacing/pace.I don’t remember who or what year. But, Cal got ejected at Arkansas. Assistant took over. UK wins. That guy, for one.
I hope Anthony Davis would do that for us fans! He really does love us if he’s telling the Lakers front office he wants Cal as his next head coach! The only thing I can think of is if AD and Lebron have said that’s someone they’d be interested in playing for given last relationships
Barbee did it at South Carolina...went zone and confused the F outta the lamecocks...I don’t remember who or what year. But, Cal got ejected at Arkansas. Assistant took over. UK wins. That guy, for one.
Hits, Einstein. More ad dollars. You guys are gullible and desperate for validation . They know it. They are using you like a 30 year old Volvo.Couldn’t you give me just one hour? Just kidding, of course. Hard to give a lifetime to something, even though it’s just sports, and not just

As opposed to being used like a 70 year vulva. I can live with that.Hits, Einstein. More ad dollars. You guys are gullible and desperate for validation . They know it. They are using you like a 30 year old Volvo.
More with the body parts. Perve. As opposed to being used like a 70 year vulva. I can live with that.
Shows they don't know much about Cal Could we happen to drop him on them? No.Won't happen.Name one reason they would want him.
i believe that sums it upIts time. He's gotten too comfortable
If it is, they’re dumber than a sack of rocks.Uk fans aren’t dumb. And, eventually, win out. Look at our history.I’m playing the BS card. This sounds like Cal’s camp putting something out there. He’s got to know BBN is big time p!$$ed off at him. This feels like a ploy for UK fans to say oh we really didn’t mean anything. Please don’t go. If he wants to go, then go. I won’t lose one wink of sleep over it.
This wreaks of the usual college coach facing scrutiny wanting to drum up "please don't go" and this time around it's not going to work at all. Nobody is buying that in order:
1. Lakers want him
2. He'd give up the $ Kentucky is giving him/his family
3. He's a "god" at Kentucky? This Devaney doesn't sound like he's up to date with things
I've seen this ploy far too often and the fact is, nobody cares. This isn't the time to do it, yet the coaches always need a "hug" to reassure themselves. Get out on the road this week and WORK. 63 yr old retreads from CBB aren't the rage of NBA basketball and certainly aren't going to ail what the Lakers need to fix things.
