Buzz Williams is a better coach than any of those mentioned above. He is a good in game coach as well. That is what we ave missed since Cal has been here and has bugged me. Two yrs with Buzz we would be in a final four.

I think they can and should. He doesn;t deserve another check ffrom UK as the head coach. He doesn't deserve that honor anymore.

Beard got better transfers than us and at Tx ended up with double digit losses. He isnt out of the 1st rd yet. I cant see him as the answer feels closer to another BCG hire.

possible....but this is his first year at Texas.....he got TT to an Elite and a FF....guy can coach....but I think Texas is the job he has always wanted.....don't think he would leave
I disagree, what has Texas done since he left? When he was there they were Kansas biggest threat in the conference. Look at the talent difference at UT and us but he gets them to overachieve. He owns Cal head to head. Not saying he’s my first choice but I wouldn’t be disappointed if it happened

I think Scott Drew is who you guys should go get. The guy somehow has managed to get a 4 seed caliber team a 1 seed this year.
Surprised that Frank Vogel hadn't gotten more mention. He checks a lot of boxes: UK alum, Pitino assistant, good x's and o's guy, and would probably love to get away from general manager Lebron.

But in fantasy world, you make one call. Brad Stevens. Make him turn down 10 million a year. Call him back with 12 million a year.

Vogel is a home run hire. Holtmann would be a good consolation the guy grew up bleeding Blue.
That would be so awesome and a great time for his return to college ball. I would love have any coach that runs a fun offense, hell Tyler Ulis ran the team better than Cal.
We could hope that there is some kind of way to fire him for just cause. I don't know what that would be. but most contracts have one. Has anyone seen Cal's contract?
