Well at least they're in position to land one of those top 5 guys. And I'll at least say that by trading Oladipo, and obviously Harden a few months ago, they've committed themselves to trying to blow it up and rebuild. I know that makes it harder on the fans, but to me, that beats being consistently in the middle of the pack where your ceiling is the 7th or 8th seed and getting blown out in the first round without much chance of getting a difference maker. You're not in position for a Cunningham/Mobley/Suggs/Green/Kuminga type in this draft and not really a major free agent destination being a middle of the road team. The Wizards have been trying that and it's getting them nowhere in a hurry.
