Zags PASS the ball ... they do not DRIBBLE it that much. They MOVE, CUT and PASS !!
They are legit! That is what a college basketball team looks like. I hope Cal is watching and taking notes.
Fun fact....the ball moves faster through the air than the ground
unless you have an elite 1v1 guy like wall, whipping it around like soccer on hardwood is the better way to go
I went from not wanting them to be successful to semi pulling for them bc they play a pure form of basketball. How it was intended to be played before the over emphasis on athletic ability took over

I’d rather the Zags win it than Michigan, UCLA, Baylor, or Houston.
I turned on the radio today and heard Colin Cowherd say that USC would take the Zags down. I thought to myself, "This guy is an idiot." Now, it is confirmed. Zags are indeed what is good about college bball.
I think they get beat....but I do not think it would be a blowout by any means. I honestly think our 15 team is one of the few to beat them by double digits.
W a close game with the 12 team. Zags would beat the 09/10 team. That team could not shoot.
The Zags are the best college team in basketball this year. Now, anyone can be beat....they have a terrible game and the other has a Villanova perfect game.....but that's about it.

I understand why some posters don't want Gonzaga to win after 2015, but it's really hard to watch this Gonzaga play and dislike them unless you are simply upset they may get something done that we couldn't.
Being the best team this season isn't saying much. So it would be really hard to try to compare this Gonzaga team to teams from previous seasons. This has been the weakest season for college basketball I have ever seen. Gonzaga and Baylor have looked pretty good, but since everyone else looks like total ***, who is to say how good they really are?
I wouldn't care if Baylor won it. Anyone but UCLA! The Zags play without any fear at all and they are fun to watch!
What impresses me about them is they force the other team to play their game. Not vice versa. Cal has lost at least 2 titles by letting the other team dictate the tempo.
So we were 9-16 in the weakest season ever!!!
I just don't think the zags deserve to be included in the undefeated national champions discussion, even if they do win it all. They do not go undefeated in a power 5 conference in a regular year. Road games packed to the gills, loud obnoxious fans. Just don't see it
Gonzaga is a great team. As a college basketball purist, I can’t get behind tiny U. Never have been able to root for the little programs unless playing Duke, Kansas, etc. Houston, Baylor, Michigan in that order.
I would think all the Few fans who want him at Kentucky should hope Gonzaga loses. If they win it, he will retire there. If they lose, there’s a chance he would go to a bigger program.

Hard not to like this Zags crew. Not much showboating, finger pointing, pulling the jersey....just enjoying playing basketball and its working.
I had Baylor vs. Gonzaga in the Final Game in my pre-tourney prediction with Baylor winning. I hope that remains correct as I don't want to hear about the Zags being the only undefeated team in the modern era, etc. However, I am not sure Baylor can rebound with them and these games often boil down to fundamentals.
If you are truly a basketball fan and can’t appreciate how efficiently great the Zags are then you’re nuts. This team is truly a TEAM in all facets. This team would beat Davis’ team. They are genuinely that good. I’ve waited until now to say this because I wanted to see what they would do against an athletically long team.

Sorry. Should've been more clear. I meant '12 UK or '09 UNC. Our '09 team could shoot the lights out...Lawson, Green, Ellington. I'm pretty sure your '12 team would run this Gonzaga team off the court too. '15 definitely would, but I was thinking title teams, since Zags are favorite at this point.
Pretty much how I see it. Not to say they aren't good. They are fun to watch.

It just confirms what a clown-show of a coach Cal is to almost lose to a mediocre Notre Dame team with a 6’5” post player and follow that up by losing to Wisconsin.
I'm hoping they win just to further add to the misery that a lot of these miserable UK fans on this board seems to have in their lives.

It's the people that were happy with the 9 and 16 season that are anti-Gonzaga. The people not happy with the 9 and 16 season like Gonzaga.
And if they lose to Baylor all those earlier people will be on here making threads and laughing.
